Girl continue to take your time. You guys have been through it lately. When we get the eyes, we get them. They’re a nice bonus to have been able to support you through this.
Wow, that convention organizer definitely should have called the event off sooner! I don't blame you at all for not wanting to work with them in the future, the lack of communication alone is extremely unprofessional. I'm glad you and your family are safe, that is far more important than anything else
So glad u made it through Milton... I was thinking of u as well as basically my entire family...they all live in Florida and South Carolina. I'm in MA and I have to say I was terrified for you all! I prayed for all of u as well as a few other crochet artists who live in Florida. Anyway so happy u guys are all safe!!
Where I am we got so much rain and wind but all our friends and family made it out safely! Lost power Wednesday before the storm even hit and got it back the following Wednesday. We evacuated down the road to an elevated brick house and are very thankful our trailer survived with very minimal damage.
I absolutely love your videos and your beautiful plushies! I’m so sorry for all you’ve been through and so grateful you and your family are ok after Milton. You’re such a great inspiration to the crochet community ❤. I hope you find a venue to sell your amazing work soon! So many great things! 😊
We got hit by Helene, lost everything. So when Milton came we just sat in shelter for week. But my son and I made it out alive, while some didn’t. So feel blessed. Stuff can be replaced right. Prays to everyone that had to go through this.
I’m so glad you and your family are safe. I’m a FL girl now living in upstate SC. Our area got hit pretty hard by Helene, but not as bad as some of my friends & family in GA,NC & TN. We were out of power for almost 10days, just got internet back. I’m so far behind now on my market prep and to get out 4 custom tumbler/ shirt orders. Thankfully the orders are for friends. My dad’s siblings evacuated for Milton and it took them over 12 hrs just to make it to the GA state line. My mom & sister didn’t evacuate, a tornado touched down near my mom’s. My sister said she thought her roof was to be ripped off.
I am so glad to hear that you guys made it through Milton safely! We made it through with no damage, thankfully. It is just nice to see another crocheter in my area that is going through the same things I am, both good and bad. And take your time getting stuff out, we all will understand if orders take a while longer! I hope to be able to eventually place an eye order and be able to help support your business too! But for real, take some time to just focus on you and your family, you deserve a break!
Girl we get it! You are doing amazing with everything you have been through and you’re doing the best you can, we all understand! So glad you are safe from Milton! That’s so unfortunate that you couldn’t do the market, and so unfortunate they didn’t respond in a timely manner! Anyways when you get our eyes done you get them done! Cant wait to order more eyes from you!
Your convention prep was an education for me. Life happens-so no need to apologize. Your life has been pretty stressful! Blessings and prayers for you and your family/friends. It’s a shame the convention staff wasn’t more responsive. Hopefully this will set you in a new direction. Good luck!!!❤❤❤
First glad you are safe! I am from TN but most of my co-workers live in Florida. Milton scared me for them! Glad that everyone is safe. Second thanks for the detailed breakdown of the barcode. I have canva and pay extra for it too so I'm going to have to look into this!
I’m in Orlando and also a crochet artist who was going to wasabi con and I know exactly how you felt 😭🫶🏾 I was trying to mange all this hurricane stuff we legitimately slept downstairs because of tornadoes… and in the back of my mind all I could think of was the convention it was. So stressful for no reason, in my opinion they should have postponed the convention the minute we got the projection… It didn’t feel like the convention cared about anybody at all it was so clear… we travel from all over for these events and they didn’t even care. it was so frustrating I felt like an idiot for giving these people my money. all I wanted them to do was reschedule the convention they wouldn’t. Thursday afternoon I packed up the car me and my mom took my dog to the sitter and we headed for Jacksonville we were still on the 429 when I checked my email to see the load in information and I saw the email saying the convention was postponed…. 😭 thankfully the hotel let us cancel but yeah it was not good.
I bought tickets to the convention specifically to meet you but I couldn’t agree more about how terribly the whole situation was handled! I don’t blame you for not working with them in the future but we are sad to miss you in north Florida! I am glad your family was safe through the storm. Take care xx
Whew! Girl, your bday, patterns releasing, patterns in sane, TESTER CALLS, prepping for a convention, working! BANANAS. Just BANANAS. I’m tired watching you; you HAD to be burnt. Oooof. Happy belated bday, though! Hugs from Ohio ☺️🫶🏻🧶🧡🧙🏻 xx ~ Lisa

Where I am we got so much rain and wind but all our friends and family made it out safely! Lost power Wednesday before the storm even hit and got it back the following Wednesday. We evacuated down the road to an elevated brick house and are very thankful our trailer survived with very minimal damage. With the last two hurricanes I had three market cancellations, one of which is supposed to be a bigger market . I’m hoping I’ll be able to make up funds.
Glad you and your family are safe. I have enjoyed your videos over the past few months and am sorry you guys are getting so much bad weather. I’m glad you were able to get your puppy to the vet and fixed up before. everything happened. Take care and God bless!
So glad you posted. I’m in Canada and I watched and worried for the people in Florida, especially the few ladies I follow. I can’t imagine how frightened you were during that time. Sorry about how your convention treated everyone but I guess they too were in turmoil. Love your newest designs Sean and Phoebe 😂.
I am so happy you are safe after the hurricanes and natural disasters that have been revenging FL. For tagging, I wanted to recommend bulk prepping! I also use business cards to make tags and the life saver for me was sitting down and cutting/hole punching all of the tags while watching TV. Then the manual nature of tagging feels (a bit) less tedious. Love the bar codes, maybe looking for labels that are 2”x.5” so you can print 1 at a time and not need to hand cut them in the future!
I'm so glad you are safe and have a generator. I live in the Texas Gulf coast so I totally feel what you're saying about evacuations. I'm about 30 minutes from Surfside beach and we don't evacuate because we are out of the storm surge area but we deal with comments too in this area and it's so frustrating.
I love the info about the barcodes cuz I thought that was near impossible but omg it could be so easy 😲 I’m so sorry for the struggles you’ve been through. Thank you for sharing and I hope to see more vlogs!! I’m glad you’re okay🥺
I’m glad to hear you are safe from the storms 😮💨was worried due to Debbie. I’m sorry to hear the conventions didn’t work out for you, I would feel sour after that issue, too, especially since people need to know plans sooner than later
A little tip for cutting out the felt - I put heat and bond on the back so that it sticks better on the mat plus stops the mat getting covered in little felt bits. Iron on interfacing does the same also, I just prefer heat and bond x
That's so funny! I did the shine crafts espeon & it's still sitting undone from MONTHS ago because I set it aside after I figured out the math on the head/body to make it one piece. I wrote it down though so if I ever do it again it will be fast haha.
When Helene hit, the market organizations sent hurricane dates and even made a specific dates for the victims of the hurricane. I’m so sorry that you experienced this. That is so unethical. We can’t control the hurricane and my prayers go to Florida.
Wow that’s scary about the hurricanes glad your family and you are ok. Hopefully this is the last of the hurricanes. That’s sucks how they treated you about the convention. Prayers for those who aren’t ok.
Commenting from St. Pete (my boyfriend’s house) but also local to Central Florida. I’m not sure exactly where you are, but I know you’re close by. Sending love, thoughts, prayers, and mostly just understanding. ❤
Omg I don’t think I’ve ever seen that puffin pattern before! I’m obsessed! I’m sorry that you had to work with that level of unprofessionalism. That’s very very unfortunate. You handled it very gracefully.
I am so sorry for what you had to go through with the Florida weather. Robin love watching you. Also what type of microphone are you using the white one? Thank you. Have a beautiful day and Happy Birthday. ❤🎉
I would also not attend their next conventions, just principally that’s wrong to do to people. I understand that this money from putting it on is probably their livelihood, so you don’t get a refund, but it seems like it was more so not the case Based on everything you stated. But on the up side, your stocked in inventory for several markets 😍. And you and your family are safe!
I’m also an artist who was supposed to be at wasabi con and let me tell you I was HOT…. I was half way to Jacksonville.. I’m just so relieved they ended up doing refunds because I couldn’t make the November show dates… I’m also a crochet artist and I was so excited to meet you tho :(…
I haven't ordered anything simply because I haven't needed anything but I personally wouldn't mind waiting. I did have something come from Georgia recently and it didn't bother me to wait an extra week. I'm just happy the seller was ok! Sorry for the frustrating experience. That's crummy how it was handled.
Okay... so because I love you😅 I hate it when you say the price and give a "because..." girl! Own it! My hands made it so my hands get to price it. The right person won't blink at your price tag.
Love your fan art pieces! Maybe you could sell them in a game store? The convention organizers sound either super amateurish or just plain focused only on their pocketbooks. So sorry for you and all the other vendors.
Hey girl! I work for this convention on the voice actor side, if you are okay do you mind DM’ing me your experience. I’ve worked with this convention since their first year so I would love to hear more of what you went through and maybe be able to spread some more light on where some of the miscommunications were happening and why. I can say from experience, this convention is not one who is money hungry or some of the other nasty things people have commented. I do agree things should have been handled differently and still believe there needs to be some more transparency as to what actually happened to cause the cancellation. 🖤
Hi there, the way the affordable one worked for me is bluetooth to my phon/ipad and acts as the keyboard when checking out on square. All I do is hit the search box and scan the product and it will pull up the sku to add to cart- then just hit the search box again and I can scan another item. It will block out your phone keyboard so if you need to type letters you need to put the scanner to sleep or disconnect it. I found this to be the cheapest and pretty simple way to search my products through square. I crate the barcodes through canva code 39 I believe.
Please be careful with copyrighted characters. You are too talented to get in trouble for making them. Without them you would still make beautiful things!
Currently haven’t sold any. I was prepping for a convention where you’re allowed to make and sell fan art pieces which is what those were categorized as :)
❤ 51:19 a lot of money goes into conventions. I understand your investment and your reaction but maybe after a breather you may see things more objectively. Switching gears for individuals is so traumatic during unexpected natural disasters but a business moves at an even slower pace with so much on the line. I’m glad the convention is postponed but it must have been so costly for them just a couple days out to cancel - they had to pay up front as well.
Girl continue to take your time. You guys have been through it lately. When we get the eyes, we get them. They’re a nice bonus to have been able to support you through this.
You've been through a lot. Take your time with your life and try not to stress about stuff. Love your videos.❤

So glad to hear everyone is okay. Regarding the convention I would have done the same thing. There is always other markets
Happy birthday!
I love the info about the barcodes cuz I thought that was near impossible but omg it could be so easy 😲 I’m so sorry for the struggles you’ve been through. Thank you for sharing and I hope to see more vlogs!! I’m glad you’re okay🥺
I feel so bad for you but happy you’re ok.
Love your videos robin!! I’ve been with you since you had only 100 subscribers 🥺 Im so happy your channel has grown so much!
I’m glad to hear you are safe from the storms 😮💨was worried due to Debbie. I’m sorry to hear the conventions didn’t work out for you, I would feel sour after that issue, too, especially since people need to know plans sooner than later
Hi robin! Good to hear from you I’ve been thinking about you through these hurricanes!❤❤
Thank you friend, so glad to be safe and everything remains well on the west coast of FL 🙌🏻💖

Happy Belated Birthday! Also my birthday is also on October 4th! I turned 23!
Love all you animals and characters! Sorry about what happened with the convention.
WOW 😮😮😮 THIS ITEMS ARE SO COOL ❤
I love all your plushies❤

I love that for rhe barcodes! I need to upgrade before going to market again.
Yesss ! It will make the search of each product so much easier 🥹 will be completely worth it !
You should totally have a way for people to buy your crochet pattern at your event if they crochet
Omg I don’t think I’ve ever seen that puffin pattern before! I’m obsessed! I’m sorry that you had to work with that level of unprofessionalism. That’s very very unfortunate. You handled it very gracefully.

We got hit directly with both hurricanes. :(
Your pikachu looks like ditto
hi! What type of yarn do you use for these? they are so cute!

You could play off the Ogre name. Ogreg for Shrek & Ogretta for Fiona!!!
How does the scanner work with your square? Amazon says it’s not compatible with square but I’m looking first a cheap option that I can use at markets
Hi there, the way the affordable one worked for me is bluetooth to my phon/ipad and acts as the keyboard when checking out on square. You can make copyright/licensed items, just not sell them. The exception is cons, to my understanding
How in the world do you avoid copyright infringement issues with all of these popular IPs you're selling???
Currently haven’t sold any. I was prepping for a convention where you’re allowed to make and sell fan art pieces which is what those were categorized as :)
@@SweetBeansCrochet Ah I see. So it all depends on where you sell them and if they allow it. Thanks for the answer!
