Luther and Robin became certified legends in soul and r&b, and Young Americans was the first major record they were on. They worked in a grocery store together when David found Carlos Alomar, Robin's partner, and eventually his longtime guitarist. David took the three of them out on his Philly Dogs Tour while recording the album. It was a huge deal at the time after the Civil Rights Movement. David was quite a good human being. ❤

I think you'll love a song called Look Back in Anger from his Lodger album. Oasis released a song called Don't Look Back in Anger named after it, so that may appeal to you. David's sound was ever-changing and he could do it all, so expect a lot of different things from him. The interesting thing is that the knife guy is actually Boo-ee. Bo-wee is the Scottish version David chose. It means blonde.
