Add YT in, kick, TikTok, Facebook, etc, then on tourney day the views nearly double, especially in big tournies. Never mind the millions of players who play the game daily. Wz is a money maker and ppl watch. This year alone WZ has two 1million dollar tourneys, there have been 50k's, 25k', 10k's, and every night someone's hosting $500- $2,000 dollar tournaments. Then add in the 1 million dollar tournies each year from 2021 to now, plus all the 1k-150k's each year from 2021 to now. WZ's not an E-sport? I'd say the WZ stats speaks for it's self.

There are also laws on the books in many states making it a criminal offense to cheat in a fishing tournament. Would think tackling the cheating for EVERYONE who plays is just as important as for those who chose to make a career outta it.
It always amazed me the activision never done anything legal about cheats considering they dont need to pay for products they're selling. Its literally stealing but hey I'm sure they have their reasons 👀

i think the devs/Event Manager should Check every Player before they are able to Play in such a qualifiier Match.
or maybe Check them after they qualified and let the next Team through or so. If they are Not able to get cheating Out of the Game they should try to so Something Else to avoid such a Situation

unfortunately playing warzone/ressurgence when you get home to enjoy and have fun is not an option anymore, the 3rd party programs with bots are completely out of proportion these days, sometimes is really hard to make whos cheating, but one give away are the low rank players moving like gods and not missing a single shot, then again you have the maxxed out players trying to lvl with those cheaters to make the game more competitive and trying to stay alive and getting a chance to win a game... very sad

I think there should be something done, legally. Probably just have to go through a lawsuit in civil court, because tbh I don't think court systems would take anything about video games seriously. I do think any criminal charges would be too far, though. It's shitty, but I don't think it's even misdemeanor worthy.

The way this becomes punishable to a degree is by signing contracts as teams or teammates. Relationships for cheating is monetary compensation and or some kind of repercussion involving public apologies and being sued for brand damage and or compensation according to a level of what the tournament pay out was for winning and or placing high enough to receive payment. Those is loose but the point is there. This contact status in place for when after someone finishes out and they don't know about the cheating for up to a year later. Or even longer. Or the tournaments have rules where the entrants sign contracts that they will be held accountable if cought cheating. Being sued and dispersing the money to those who were effected by the teams who were beat by the cheaters.

Here's the thing: it affected other peoples' legitimate livelihood. If a person makes a living off of competition, then that living becomes jeopardized by someone behaving illegitimately in the competition, then that person needs to be justly, and fairly, compensated. Cheating is bullshit.

They lost their fishing license, had to pay like $100000 in fines, give back a boat they were given by a sponsor, went to jail for 10 days, and were banned from every fishing event for life. They should do the same kinda thing in this situation.

I don't doubt more $1m tourneys will be popping up, with more opportunities for all, however, when cheating keeps getting in the way, it hurts everyone in the end. So far, I don't think there are laws in place for E-Sports that are comparable to major leagues like NBA, NHL, and NFL (respectively) in regard to cheating, but I have a feeling, since this alone has made such an impact to the WARZONE community, let alone the competitive gaming community as a whole, those rules are going to be implemented real soon!

Those could be fines, immediate disqualification, bans, etc. Each player should be required to sign the contract prior to participation in the tournament.

Who am I to judge another human for their actions? If I went through their upbringing and had their environment, I would probably do the same thing.
That being said, there has to be consequences for actions. They do not have to be stemmed in hatred or malice, it is simply a matter of fact. if you do A expect B to happen.
This player cannot be trusted to ever compete again, and all earnings and prize money should be returned. Simple cause and affect.

From there all of these people with mental illness on their small bedroom wont even bother, is just too much for them.
COD is doing a better job on the pub lobbies with the cheaters problem but on these tourneys this cant happen.

That is ALWAYS cheaters justification. It starts with the mentality that everyone “better” than you is hacking anyway. It’s easier to think that way than it is to get better at the game. My cousin had that same mentality and last I heard got ricocheted for EO. He was actually trash but thought EVERYONE including me was hacking 🤣(I play on PS5 and usually get to diamond 3 or crim 1 in ranked but nowhere near the best) anytime someone did something above his skill level he would immediately resort to hackusations. Part of the reason why channels like BBB and COS are so dangerous because they perpetuate and give credence to this same mentality and remove any motivation to actually improve.
