Dear Fr Sheehan, Adm Saint Patricks Church Donegal Street,Belfast.
Why when making your comments, about the bigotry of Protestants during the Black Parade, do you not mention the bigotry from within the Catholic community ?
In local papers it stated that members from within the Catholic community spat, not only words of hate towards the Protestant Unionist Loyalist Community, but the very contents from within their mouths.
Do you believe that these actions would heighten tensions during the parade ?
And if so, for what reason would you then take a one sided view & express it to the world ?
Will you be approaching any media outlets to make the same statements against those bigots within the Catholic community, now that you have more details about the full events ?
Will you be aplauding those within the PUL community, who did indeed, walk by showing their Catholoic neighbours the respect they deserve.
Surely you can see how your words will be perceived around the world.
On this video is footage of men shouting scum from within the Catholic protesters. Footages of a you girl making a sexual sign towards the PUL community.
I spoke to the father of one young Protestant child who was hit with a golf ball.
Are these the actions of a proud & dignified Catholic Community ?
Could you also tell me how much hate someone must have for another human being to not want them to walk by them playing a musical instrument ?
Taking into acount that Republicans from within the Catholic community are killing & trying to kill soldiers & policemen every week. Giving that most of the violence during all these parades is carried out afterwards against the Catholic Community by Republicans ?
Father Sheehan Over 1 Million Protestants, Not All Bigots, have to accept mass murderers like Gerry Kelly into governemnt, have to stand by & watch killers like Joe Fatz Doherty & Shankill Bomber Sean Kelly sneer at them, waiting for events like this to happen, just to score a point.
Does Our community not deserve the same rights & equality, as those above, who have murdered our children ?
Sticks & Stones Will Break Your Bones But Flutes Will Never Harm You.
