- I upgraded my Pi 5 NAS to 2.5 Gigabit networking so I could edit videos directly from the NAS. The Pi 5 is also working as a Davinci Resolve project server.

Aww, pumpkin the cat's happy you have a 2.5 Gbps network segment now! I'm still surprised 5 Gbps hasn't really seen any adoption, it seems like 10 Gbps will be the next mile marker but WiFi really upped the ante.
She's happy because she's the boss ;)
That’s indeed a bit strange, 5gbps equipment is nowhere to be found. But as older 10g gear gets more affordable we might not even need 5gbps. Although if the adoption rate for 10g is as slow as with 2.5g we’ll have to wait another 10 years minimum to see consumer mainboards with 10g. If WiFi keeps its current pace in speed increases per generation it might have reached 20g by then xD
Not to forget: awww, pumpkin the cat ❤
Awww.. Pumpkin! She’s the boss! 😜🙌🏽
AW Pumpkin!! Yet another great video. Looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks for watching!
Aww, Pumpkin, my two cats Felix and Max says hello.
She's saying hi back to them
Cute kitty, pumpkin.
Does anyone know if you can fit two of USB Network adapters side by side on the Raspberry Pi's USB 3.0 ports? Sometimes the USBs are to bulky and won't line up right side by side each other (which is sort of strange IMO. You would think that manufacture would want to make sure that 2 of these adapters can sit side by side. This way you'd end up purchasing more of them).
It will depend on the adapter. The one I have is not bulky. Another option is to extend with a PCIe card
@@makerbymistake What about the USB adapter in the video? Are you able to get two side by side at all? If you have two USB 3.0 adapter on hand to check at all. Thank you in advance for the video and for the quick reply. I realize how busy being a content creator can be.
Aww…Pumpkin. I got the 1.5Gbps issue once on the Pi 5, which was solved after upgrading the system. CNX-Software got a very detailed post about it. Maybe it would work for the Pi 4, too.
Awww... Pumpkin
