Hi, great video man, very helpful, can i please ask you for your opinion about the Walrus Audio Canvas mono ? do you think it's better than a regular D.I. ? Thank a lot
@@lowrencemayfield4271 I am using the stereo version. I believe the mono is the same as the Stereo just less ins and outs. Regardless, the canvas DI works great with the stomp. That is why I originally bought it. I have also used it as a stand alone DI with my bass in a rehearsal situation and it sounded and functioned perfectly. I can’t speak to how it would work for recording yet but I am sure it would be fine.
Hello there. I have Stomp XL and couldn´t figure out how to make it work with Ampero Control. I connected them with Rockboard Flat MIDI Cable. When I setup it with Ampero app it doesn´t change anything on Stomp when I press every button on Ampero Control. I checked that both are on channel 1 and nothing works. When I tried the Learn function on Stomp and pressed button on Ampero Control it said: "This CC# is reserved!". So I am hopeless. I don´t know if it´s the midi cable that is wrong. I don´t know if I should try it with USB cable but I would need USB B to USB B cable, which is hard to find. Or if I set it up wrong. All other videos about Line 6 HX Stomp with Hotone Ampero Control aren´t in English.
@@notgringe2574 make sure you have the midi out on the Ampero control connected to the midi in of the Stomp XL. Look at the manual for the Stomp XL on the Line 6 website. Page 66 and 67 give the CC# and Value, those will need to be input in the Ampero control app in the data 1 and data 2 field. Watch my video again where I explain this. Maybe I could have explained in better detail, sorry. Let me know if you need more help.
@@TheJcx9000 Thank you very much! I followed your steps again like yesterday and now it works perfectly. Maybe I made mistake yesterday. Thanks again. Good luck and have a nice day!
Thank you - your video is very clear and helpful
Great video! Thanks!
