How To Create An Avatar with Instagram - Full Guide

1. Open the Instagram app.
2. Tap on your profile picture in the bottom-right corner of the display.
3. On your profile, press on the hamburger menu in the top right.
4. Select "Settings" from the menu that pops up from the bottom.
5. Go to "Account."
6. From the options that appear, select "Avatar."
7. Press "Get Started" to begin the process, and you will be taken to the Instagram avatar creation page.
8. Select your desired skin tone.
9. Swipe your finger to the right on the next screen to customize your face, including hair style, face markings, eye shape, and more.
10. Once you are satisfied with your facial features, move on to choosing your body shape and clothing. Note that you cannot create your own clothing or mix and match items at this time, but you can add accessories.
11. Feel free to go back and forth and make adjustments to your avatar as many times as you like.
12. When you are finally happy with your creation, press the "Done" button in the top right corner.
13. In the pop-up window that appears, press "Save Changes" and wait for your avatar to be updated.
14. Tap on "Next" to start using your new avatar right away.
