I would just like to know if it drives any better. I want a PHEV (Prime) but I can't stand something so tall so I figured slam it down. I know it'll never be a proper car feeling but lowered and with good tires it should be an improvement, right?

drastic improvement, change the suspension like end links and add sway bars for stiffness. you get better cornering and better center of gravity

My wife has a prime, it handles pretty well as is, but i don't really fit in it, the rake of the windshield makes the seating position weird..
