"This is definitely not a pedal for everyone though, 'caus no matter what you'll always get that really nice, warm smooth punch very classic vintage sounding very big giant ampeg tube sound with it". Those persons are also prone to leave dislikes and being very unhappy with life. It sounds great!
This is my favorite overdrive pedal for guitar. When I bought it, I didn’t expect it would also become my favorite pedal for bass. The bass knob is set around 80hz, so I can bump that up a tad and not lose any low end. I use it for a light overdrive and and it adds a ton of warmth and harmonics to my bass sound. Makes it sit in the mix really nicely. If you play bass (or guitar) you MUST try this pedal.
Patrick, your channel is the only one I've found that has consistently good bass tones and nice videography. All of your basses sound so awesome. Your channel is giving me a lot of inspiration for my own channel. I should have my first ever video up within a month and I can't wait. You rock so hard, man.
Patrick, You absolutely sold me on this pedal. I almost bought an Erupter until I heard this video. This is perfect for me. Ordered last night. Thanks for all the videos man, I love your style so hearing you through pedals gives me a truest form of what I want to hear.
Sounds good, crunchy but not overly bright. I’m looking at different pedals to get the sound of Autolux’s Eugene Goreshter. The Earthquaker pedals Palisides looks a good one for bass. Currently using way huge swollen pickle. And the pork pickle bass pedal. Also liking the octadrive fuzz in the axeFX III that’s kinda working for me.
Patrick, would you ever consider more variety in your effects pedal demos? Like delay, reverb, chorus, phaser, etc? Your videos are fucking awesome btw.
Wondering whether this thing will do anything that the MBD-1 won't do. It sounds AWESOME in the video, but I also have an MBD-1 which has some similar tones, and wondering if it's also worth getting one of these. I LOVE the other EQD stuff that I have.
I like your playing more than the pedals tbh. EarthQuaker has a different approach to bass pedals and that is a good thing. Many similar pedals have artificial synth sound or lose the low end.

love the riff starting at 0:27
Pretty cool sounding! Sounds like the EHX Big Muff after it had a few drinks to chill out.

This pedal is killer with bass.Very warm.
I was just wondering like an hour ago if you’d demo this pedal. Thanks for delivering!
Douglas Flores By your own admission you didn’t ask and so he didn’t deliver.
Love that opening jam

your take on the Blumes much anticipated! (vs. the other EQD dirt options on bass too - greedy me)
Garden Window by O’Brother in the background. Tremendous record.
This is the first overdrive I've liked on bass that isn't Darkglass. Can't wait to try it out myself!
thanks, Mark!
Where can I find one?
Westwood is available online, or at any of our brick-and-mortal dealers: www.earthquakerdevices.com/dealers/
Really??? Have you seen the fulltone ocd?
Yes, really. The OCD is too farty on bass. Compare this with Patrick's video of the OCD. ruclips.net/video/eKJmV4FTIIY/видео.html
Patrick always sounds like Patrick, no matter what pedal. This is good.
Loved it with the gain set low

Awesome pedal, awesome demo, awesome bassist, awesome person!!!! Keep up the fantastic work, man!!!!
Great demo! I Can't wait to get one of these and set about trying to squeeze it on my pedalboard.

I’d love to see you do a video on the Plumes.
Can you review EarthQuaker Devices Acapulco Gold V2?
Does anyone know how well this pedal can push other pedals such as a chorus, flanger reverb etc? Thx in advance~ ✌️ ☮️
