Thanks so much for doing this. I ordered my ReefBot a month ago and scheduled for July delivery. Every video I watched on it it just talked about how easy it is but no one showed setting up the test kits. Thanks for this portion for sure.
@@ReefHausDynamics I like the Reefbot ethos. Using a variety of test kits instead of being locked into proprietary ones is better for the consumer. I brought this up to the devs on the Maven release live stream and they had some lame excuse that if you couldn't find one of the dozens of reagents for the reefbot you could find theirs? What kind of logic is that. Turned me off immediately.
Wonderful explanation, I’m amazed that you still have the older reefbot and still working all these years, this gives even higher expectations for the newer model. I’ve been using reefbot lab myself for almost a year and a half now and totally love it, can’t even remember how i used to test before. Easy to use, minimal maintenance, compatible with all tests, and spot on accurate, I always recommend it to my friends instead of other testers
That's awesome glad you are enjoying yours. I definitely agree with even remembering how I tested before lol. If anything I find myself testing the tank more because I have it at my finger tips. But Yeah the og Reefbot definitely lasted awhile, but I like the Reefbot Lab way more. Thanks for sharing and watching the video.
Does it really cost 1500 dollars? As cool as it is there’s no way to justify that when for that mean you could buy the trident/maven, which do this periodically on auto pilot, and their respective controllers for that much money.
The reefbot does the same, it runs scheduled tests automatically based on your tank's type and preferred time. It's for 1299 dollars if Im not mistaken
@@JakubBartosz-zp7gv Thanks for helping with this. The Reefbot does provide more freedom and flexibility. the other auto testers are $1200 as well, unless you just want Cal, Alk Mg with apex and then it's $650 I believe.

That's awesome, You're welcome! I'm glad it was helpful. I definitely wanted to show how simple adding the reagents really is.
Should have waited for hydros maven imo. Reefbot had a bad track record.

Great feedback, thank you! I have one as well and been running great for almost a year
You're welcome. That's awesome, what test kits are you running?
Thank you very much for a review on the latest version of this.
