Hey Jake, I was driving the 127 Side Heart Motorsports car you guys were chasing in the last stint! Indeed I had a bit of a silly moment and clipped the T3 wall which got me full red front damage and a touch of steering damage, so it killed my top speed and the gap I had to your car. Sorry about the swerve on the mulsanne I was trying to let you by on the left side when I moved right, then realised you were going right so I tried to make room by going left but left it too late. And also sorry about the rear ending I had no idea if you guys had damage nor if you were fuel saving, so I didnt expect you guys to brake so early trying to stay behind the lapped car (I thought you would try to overtake them, but it makes sense in hindsight using their draft to fuel save). you guys definitely deserved the P4 had it not been for the timing of the leader crossing the finish line. We added about 2 laps of extra fuel to account for it which ended up being the right call. But thanks for making our final stint exciting! I really pushed the Porsche 910 to expand that gap :D

I was a spectator in the back of Jake and Nate's car all race, and I'd like to thank you for providing a really exciting finish. The consensus in Jake's stream, of over 700 people at the time was that the incident wasn't 'our car's' fault. The only other comment about it was the hope it hadn't effected your race too much. Much respect shown for the excellent battle, and for posting some 38s, so fast.

@@xxTICxxTOCxx thanks mate! I was very confused seeing the gap to Jake & Nate's car shrink so quickly when I myself was losing 6-8 seconds per lap with the damage. then even in the moment of the collision I could only at worst assume the lapped Dino 206 was just braking super early and holding their car up, but definitely never thought it was intentional, and at best I figured I misjudged something because I had never come up to any cars which broke that early for that corner. I was even more confused to see them blast away on the straight again afterwards! Only when they pulled into the pits did everything make sense, and watching back the replay I saw that I just missed their brake lights completely due to the Matra tailights being kind of dim for my graphical settings. in the end though neither of us got significant damage and I was just glad to spin back around and keep going and keep further judgement of the incident later! I appreciate reading the chat replay and seeing the fair judgment with Jake's perspective its much clearer than from my POV at the time that they did nothing wrong, and instead it was mainly my misjudgement and also as i saw someone said a bit of miscommunication too. might also be the Porsche just having incredible brakes as I noticed how my teammate in the 1st stint was able to absolutely send it past Jake into the braking zones. not an experience I can't learn from though! definitely a fun time even with my team's mishaps earlier in the race (top 3 definitely possible, but P4 still pretty great after crashing and blowing our engine up :p) and I hope Jake's perspective was a good one to watch

@@JaydenHW Good race mate, you were hustling, even with the damage! It's a shame our battle ended the way it did, but I think even if we didn't have to fuel save, without your damage, you would have smashed us!

Whoever did the engine sounds for this mod needs to be snatched up by a developer ASAP. They're the best sounding cars in all of sim racing.

Hey Jake! Was that you I was side drafting in the final few lap? If so, we had some misfortunes right from the beginning, but that battle made my day🍺! Red # 123 206

@@DSW964 hahaha, we (some of us in the stream chat) were wondering why you were pinching him on the Mulsanne, some people commenting 'It's a race, he's RACING!!!' Good job.

@@xxTICxxTOCxxNot sure it was me after all- I thought I saw the green stripe and the number 5, but couldn’t find the lap long duel when I checked Jake’s Stream replay. Our 206 was the red one, but I did see a green one in Jake’s stream. If you did see our car lmk the timestamp if you can. Edit: Found it- Did slip stream with Nate and 2 other Matras. Nate got away, but the other two didn't ;-)

this IS endurance. little more immersive IMHO from that 60 mins AMS2 race you called "endurance" because it had time and tire wear multipliers LOL. great stream

    Weren’t those Matra’s V12?

Much discussed in the stream chat, apparently the V12 was first raced in 1968.

These particular Matras had a BRM V8, as this is the pre-1968 variant.
