I think the opposite. A new narrative, a new game, a new melee. Everything changed now as if melee was released among every other current fighting game. 2020 is the beginning of the new era for our scene and slippi gave the revolution at the perfect time. But to each their own.
This video snap gets 2x views at least by just being shorter...an hour and 20 min of commentary highlight reads as too much to Too Many. I understand that it sucks that you feel like there's over an hour of content that's worthy to include and you'd have to cut it, but I think it'd be the higher ev play. and I'd love to watch it too, in a way more compact vid that made me feel like I could understand and catch all of the good parts. At an hour+ it reads to me, possible consumer, that you just kept every second of their time on coverage, which tho maybe not true, is still how I feel, as a consumer understanding that often commentary teams have multiple parties, and therefore maybe they weren't the majority, and so now divided, how long could they even really be on for, maybe an hour, which is just this length, is this just every word they said, not just the highlights, nah, nevermind, the average second of airtime on coverage isn't normally actually high quality, this is too much of that. I leave baited by the length of this vid into being not worth watching. Just a thought, creators :^)
adding the "including: slime, ludwig, other commentator name, other commentator name" might get some of those baited viewers to correctly think "oh yeah this is split up across a ton of dudes, an hour and 20 definitely isn't too much, its probs like 20 mins of each team or something, okay i'll watch," too. also an hour and 21 mins or w.e literally seems like its a movie length long and would i watch a movie of just commentary yeesh thats not what im tryna watch rn im tryna watch Videos About Things

The fact is many people still watch the whole video, listen to the video in the background while doing something else, or watch the video in clumps. The uploader knows his intended audience.
