Hey firespark here is idea for you. build a foundation wall. place spikess around. the build up a quarter wall on top. add more spikes on top. rince and repeat until you hae a full wall of spikes. time conssuming but i bet it would work
That spot don’t freeze? I think I built there today but I didn’t watch any vids lol, just liked the waterfall and the rock area haha plus got loads of food and drinkable water Edit: watched near end, that’s def spot I chose haha but I have lots where you’re base is and next to it is my small house
Pro-tip: there’s no need to build at the beginning of the game, you should be exploring and getting vital equipment, weapons and tools first. Very soon you’ll have epic tools to quickly make a large base very fast. I’ve got 140 hours on this game so far, and yes I made my base in the exact same location at the very beginning of day 0 lol.
That is my favorite place to build so far. I made it one floor section wider on each side using the 1/2 log wedges as you did with you entrance. Very fun and cool build.
I built there 3 weeks ago for my first little base, and 9 babies spawned nearby. They can bounce over to that house. Appreciate the editing effort you went to showing every single log and plank placed, but we really don’t need to see lol.
I seen your message other day about scammer on RUclips I think it’s happen on gameedge channel as get messaged saying I’ve won then asking for money I’m useless at tech so how would I report this to you tube and commented on another vid of gameedge but got another message saying I’ve defo one but please pay shipping can you advise love your vids and your honesty 👍
Well to the right of their comment you will see 3 dots (on Desktop) and you click that and report. Otherwise just ignore them. Creators are not going to do giveaways like that anyways - They will not use Telegram and the like. They would not ask you to pay to get a prize.
Building a base is only 1/4 of the games attraction. The exploration, fighting, and story keep you from just bunkering up. The game gets pretty boring if you don't leave your base.
That's not unraidable. The AI can't register pathing on any rope bridge, it considers them too high to reach as there meant for tree houses. Try the fang lake by the overgrown chopper, there's a ledge on the cliff side (10x30'ish ) with plenty of room. AI only registers one path in , there is a glider on the top of the cliff.
Yeah I wanna build myself a new place to. But I wait for dedicated servers so that I’m not to be forced to only play when the host is online because that really really sucks. Al my friend stopt playing to so let’s hope dedicated servers will be there soon. And trees that respawn!!
The cannibals cant path up steep rock, or over deep water(every enemy except sharks drown). You could also do what I did and build a tower in the deep water. It's pretty easy to cheese the AI to keep bases safe, but you have to explore to beat the game.
Built my base on the same rock, they just stand on the shore and look at you. They won't come near it at all, the only thing that ever happened was a baby jumped up to me once , that is about it.
I find it funny all the people claiming that the slinkys will break this yet have no idea about this location. They shut down m8. This location has no pathing the slinky guys just stop dead at the edge and sit there.
if you crash at the beach or from the rebreather cave take a left and follow the river upstream.....or maybe find a guide on where to find the modern axe, they are just right next to each other

Yeah... was standing on that spot trying to build and had a giant walk through the water, climb up, and club me. Doesn't work.

Yeah he really nubbed doing the final planks, you should manually place the fifth plank and not use the log method (unless you enjoy losing them)

its in water, AI cant get to it. Also since it's running water, it wont freeze in winter.

Nothing, it will be raided and destroyed very quickly.
