This is a compilation video of my favourite survival tips. Many of you will have seen these before but not all in the same video. Working on a really interesting video for next week so stay tuned! Watch all the survival tips videos including these ones in more detail: ruclips.net/p/PLxnadpeGdTxAJy5_f_-6cjrAnuWRwUf8M
do ANY of them show lighting a candle to keep a flame going while you wait for the fire to take hold and be self supporting in say heavy rain ... or snow .. or wind ... if NOT then there should be a video about doing JUST that ... light a match light a candle ... and keep it sheltered to stay lit ... then one match can light many things .. from a fire pit stove or lantern and on up ...
Thank you for just showing - so well - the tips and techniques. I think it activates the brain and helps learn on an entirely different level. Thank you again!
the tips are great, but i just like to have these videos on the background while doing something else. fantastic for chilling out on an afternoon, especially a rainy one when you can't go outside
hope things are well for your family and friends. may you all be safe, healthy, warm, fed, stocked up plenty, and no shortages. people value your knowledge, skills, insights. keep those bunkers up! God Bless You All!!!🙏
Awesome tips, thank you, so very much... I've got stinging nettle, growing here, never thought you could do, that. The different ways to light the fire, that's awesome.. I have a striker, I'm going to give it a go, using your ideas... A picture paints a thousand words... Thanks again.. From NZ
Yeah, whoa, I thought they looked so close to the flame, but they were doing fine. A lot of times when camping, that's the first thing you do..even before eating breakfast, put everything up on a line or branch🙂 to dry the dew off.
I tried to apply many techniques i learned in this channel last time I went camping, but man, at least in the area that u went camping here in Mexico, that harder wood is so much harder to process. Seeing how the wood just strips away like play dough here makes it look so easy.
Hey man, big fan of yours. Started to look into bushcraft recently. I fish alot, started hunting few years back, and my background is from constructions, so felt pretty natural to lean towards something like that. Curently gathering some gear for upcoming summer/fall. Lithuanian, living in sweden. So im keen to try both flatlands of lithuania, and swedish rocky forests. Keep up the work you do Cheers!
My Dad was an outdoorsman (hunting, camping, fishing) and he did alot of home projects but he never had survival skills like these.I wish I knew this stuff earlier in life.
You kno I gotta be honest I don’t do any outdoor stuff not in a long time anyway When I was a kid I’m sure But I like watching and learning that in the event I’m in a situation of survival that even if just one thing I seen you do I’d be able to remember it which actually I’m aware of a few things and even more aware of even more with your videos It is my hope that one day I can find the time and also someone to do some kind of outdoors stuff similar Love the videos mike You and pops are why I watch y’all are good people Exactly (in my opinion anyway) what a father and son should be Seeing you laugh at dad making jokes just brings joy to my heart
Outstanding! You could take still shots of this and make a PowerPoint or make a book. Usually when people narrate they over explain. This is so much better because I concentrated on what you did, not what you were saying. Great job.
Searched RUclips for survival videos and your videos popped up, JUST SUBBED Tomorrow I will start shootin' survival series "Season 1 on my channel "Garbage in Da Woods". My Girlfriend is packin' my bags, blind foldin' me and drivin' me off to drop me off for 4 days. I have many seasons planned but this is the first
There are so many good tips in here I had to take notes again! Love these! They are all tips I can exploit. Everyone! Thank you! The review was good also!
Perfectly fitting into my Friday night bushcraft line of videos. Love your grading and content. WHat you get from trees, I need to get from shrubs and bush, and it maks for interesting comparative learning. Keep up the good work
Buddy this was brilliant! I learned stuff in this video that made me feel stupid because I'd never considered it before, and it was so simple. Now I know!
You should come too ontario in the Muskokas we are on shield rock with no digging or staking possible and flat ground is few and far between. It would expose your audience to a completely different kind of survival technique. I'm sure you would do fine, but be interesting to see you in a non-ideal forest more.

The drying socks gave me a laugh.
Seriously though, nothing is more important than dry socks.
Never under estimate having dry socks!!
Dry bed, dry clothing, dry socks and dry humor ofcourse😉
Yeah, whoa, I thought they looked so close to the flame, but they were doing fine. A lot of times when camping, that's the first thing you do..even before eating breakfast, put everything up on a line or branch🙂 to dry the dew off.
I like when this man using his axe 👍👍
I tried to apply many techniques i learned in this channel last time I went camping, but man, at least in the area that u went camping here in Mexico, that harder wood is so much harder to process. Seeing how the wood just strips away like play dough here makes it look so easy.

I love this man keep up the good work 👍
incredible idea with the paracord tarp attachment. it makes so much more sense to burn the cord to attach the tarp, than using small bits of wood.
You have very creative ideas! You are well done! you really love what you do, keep it up, good luck in your work))

4:20 Pencil sharpener - one of my favourites that most youtubers ignore/forget. So, well done!
très sympa ce petit rappel. merci
Its amazing how much one can learn when the words get out of the way, even more though is how much one can teach without them.
Cool Video 👍

Me realizing the video is 24 minutes long, also me grabbing a snack first, so I don't miss a second

Nice to have them all together.
