- #LFG !!! We're so stoked for the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie! Deadpool and the X-Men are finally making their way into the MCU and we couldn't be more excited. Ryan Reynolds reprises his role as the merc with the mouth Deadpool and Hugh Jackman bares his claws as Wolverine once again. We also saw Cassandra Nova revealed as a villain in the movie!

Hugh Jackman play as Wolverine for more than 20 years. He is best of the best & nobody can replace him.

Seeing Hugh Jackman as Wolverine FINALLY in the blue and yellow, and a badass design of it as well, truly feels like some old promise was finally fulfilled.
The Bar part might be a reference to X-Men First Class when Young Professor X and Magneto try to recruit him.

It might be a Wolverine from a different world that’s VERY similar so it doesn’t matter what movies you have or haven’t seen. They could reference things from all the movies and just say it all happened (mostly) the same way.
I genuinely think that he's Gunna be from the Animated X Men series that just got Rebooted. Which would explain why he's wearing the suit

The "Liefeld's Just Feet" plaque at 1:31 was an awesome easter egg! 😄 (For those who didn't got the joke: Rob Liefeld is the artist who created Deadpool in the comics and is notoriously known for not knowing how to draw feet right.)

God I cannot wait for this movie. I just know the banter between Logan and Wade will be FANTASTIC. Hyped for all the Easter Eggs and references to the FOX X-Men films too.

It's Cassandra Nova but she probably might not be Charles' twin sister but more likely his variant in this version given the nature of the premise revolved around TVA.

This is going to be the Planes, Trains and Automobiles of the MCU. Then the whole Blood bending with Cassandra Nova the twin sister to Charles Xavier on Wolverine is just crazy. The sequence with Wolverine unleashing his claws looked so good and the sound effects matching it coming out was perfection.
How is it... that Jackman feels even MORE like Wolverine now, than in any other movie? Literally aging into the role better and better! xD
I wasn't hyped for DP2, even with Brolin as Cable. Now THIS....? L F G! ^_^

It was pointed out on Threads that the clip of where Wolverine is swinging punches that Deadpool dodges, is exactly the same as in the original Spider-Man where Peter is at school and dodges punches from Flash Thompson.

It wasn't back in time. There was TWO mention of 'worlds'. So theory is with the portal from Strange there that Stephen Strange used a portal to another reality so Deadpool could enlist another version of Wolverine for help.

The prevailing theory after this trailer is that they are adapting, in part, "Old Man Logan". Cassandra Nova apparently will replace Mysterio as the one who manipulated Logan. This would also explain the Giant Man skeleton.
The scene Acahra is thinking of is a bar Wolverine is drinking at after the fighting ring. It is also reminiscent of the bar scene in X-Men First Class when Xavier and Magneto are going around recruiting mutants and Wolverine says to them "Go fuck yourselves."
Deadpool and Wolverine jumping into Doctor Strange’s portal is very cool!!
I was also reminded about Insomniac's Wolverine game when I saw the bar scene.

Jaby and Achara both partly right. Jaby is right that Wolverine's first scene is a cage match. His second scene is at a bar and that is the scene that Achara is referencing and it's a direct reference to that scene rather than any other trailer that Jaby is looking at

Cassandra Nova Xavier was introduced in "E is for Extinction" in the New X-Men. She was Charles's twin sister. They fought in utero, and Charles's powers manifested, destroying her body. Her psyche survived, and generated a new body. She took over a Wild Master Mold in South America. She launched an attack on Genosha and killed over SIXTEEN MILLION Mutants in about four minutes.
In "Imperial" it was revealed she was a Mummudrai, an entity comprised of psychic energy. She had found Charles in utero and had "copied" his powers and DNA. She nearly burned the Shi'Ar Empire, an ancient galactic empire that could go toe to toe with the Kree, the Skrulls, and the Badoon.
Showing her "puppeteering" Logan was a good way to show in five seconds that she is Omega level.....
For me, the Deadpool and Wolverine bar scene looks a bit like the one where Charles and Magneto walk in to recruit him

I have a strong sneaking suspicion that the Wolverine in this movie is the Wolverine from the current X-Men ‘97 cartoon. I think that show is going to end with a cliffhanger or post-credits scene that ties into the MCU’s larger multiverse saga.

The City/hideout made up of Antman's corpse, is a reference to the Old Man Logan comic , where the villains won. I'm guessing it's the MCU version of Pym Falls, a town that was built in and around the corpse of Giant Man Henry Pym . Not sure if we will get more of the Old Man Logan Earth. However thinking about it, we might, as they say he failed his World . In the Old Man Logan world Mysterio tricked Logan into killing all the X-Men. They could be doing something similar here.
