Does anyone remember the time Carr dove like that against the Saints over a cornerback to get the first down back in 2016? How come an analyst doesn’t remember that? I am 60 years old and have played football and have been seriously watching football since I was 12. I know talent when I see it and am good at attention to detail. So allow me to help y’all out. I have read comments that the dive was unathletic. In 2016 when he did it, the guy hit him as he was going over the top and he flipped and landed on his back and popped right up and gave the first down sign on the Saints sideline. I’m sure some of y’all remember that. You can look at the highlights and find it. But this time he was not really hit. He was running fast and dove over the top and wasn’t really hit so he landed with full force on the ground. Had he been hit, he would have probably just rolled to the side and would not have been injured. Keep in mind also that Carr is fast. He is one of the fastest quarterbacks in straight line speed. He was running close to full speed and leaped and was expecting to be hit to alleviate some of the momentum or to even flip like he did against the Saints. So you just heard a better analysis than anyone of these talking heads have given. Your welcome.
Our Scouting / Personnel Department is and has been Terrible ! It doesn’t matter where we Draft or how many Picks we get our evaluators are going to mess it up ! Mickey Loomis and Co. have a horrendous Track Record !
Everyone hates Carr so much, theyre calling for Malik Willis or Hendon Hooker. Or Diet Cam Newton in this draft coming up. If so, draft Jaxson Dart in the 3rd round. We need OL and DL badly, too. Id rather go CB, DE, WR, or DT or OL w/ early picks, and get a QB later, like Cade Klubnik or Rourke or whatever.
I don’t understand how Nick can say those yards weren’t worth fighting for. There were only a couple minutes left in the game and a couple 1st downs wins it. If it was the 3rd quarter he doesn’t do that. 1st down he doesn’t either. If he slides he’s talked about for not putting it on the line for the team. He can do no right in many people’s eyes. It just shows how badly he still cares and wants to win. And as far as AK stepping out rather than getting the extra yard, how refreshing was it to watch Kendre get the extra yard this week. I want my backs fighting for those yards
I have no idea why these so-called "Saints experts" are so down on Jake Haener. It is because he is short? He had an exceptional college career, has performed very well in his two training camps and unlike Rattler hasn't had a chance yet. He definitely more acurate than Carr, has a quicker release and probably has superior QB acumen. Maybe he'll give the team a spark on Sunday.
There is literally NOTHING in the video to suggest that the Saints are going to move on from DC4. Nothing. But love the click-bait title from reTard-Bob and Jack Asswell
Did Nick just say Carr would have a similar effect like Baker did in Tampa & would still have Minnesota as a playoff team?? LOL man that's the first time I've seen Nick with this bad of a take. That man would stink it up no matter who he played for. There's already a decade size example of it.
Can get a QB in the 2nd round. Maybe the Penn State or Indiana quarterback. Arizona State RB would be great in the 3rd round. Mason Graham would be great in the 1st round
Saints got no pass rush = draft a qb Saints got a terrible LG mediocre RG &RT also = get another qb Saints receiver room also mediocre = get another qb that answers everything! Saints reporters/fans are delusional! What's easier to find a pass rusher in the draft or a qb? What's harder a Left guard or a qb?
Yes please move on from this special Ed derrick Carr he’s awful Carr is like a bad ph balance get rid of the old man he’s a playaction terrible can’t read a defense qb
A QB who is stupid enough to break his own arm and concuss himself because of his insecurities doesn't deserve a job anywhere. Carr's a liability to the team and to HIMSELF.
The reason we are in such a cap problem is because of Carrbage!! Camon Nick... NOF needs to bring back Brooke Kirshhoffer then I'll pay to check the content...
LMAO. What an absolute clown statement. DC4 is $12 million against the cap in 2024; behind Kamara ($16), Lattimore ($14) Cam Jordan ($13.8), Andrus Peat ($13,6), Ryan Ramczyk ($12) Carr is barely more of a Cap hit in 2024 than Michael Thomas is at $11.2 million. DC4 was only $7.2 million against the cap in 2023. Behind Cam Jordan, Andrus Peat, Alvin Kamara, Demario Davis, Michael Thomas, Marshon Lattimore, Ryan Ramczyk, and David Onyemata. Carr was essentially the same hit as Taysom Hill and James Hurst. It's wild how many Saints fans have an opinion on DC4s pay but don't actually understand the first thing about the salary cap or contracts. When it's Alvin Kamara that is paid 40% more than others at his position that rhetoric is SHUT UP, GIVE HIM HIS BAG, HE EARNED IT, IT AIN'T YOUR MONEY but when DC4 is on a high value contract stupid people lose their minds for some reason.
Trade some of these aging players for Malik Willis and/or Hendon Hooker. Use draft capital to solidify the interior on offense and defense. Go bargain shopping in free agency to fill in the gaps at some of these skill position openings
@@jadonhook52 Malik Willis didn’t look awful when he came in for Jordan Love. How do we know Hendon Hooker is awful? He’s played a handful of snaps when games were out of reach. They’re young athletic QBs that have been in the league in good offensive systems that we can get for a reasonable price. This is not a QB draft. I’d much rather spend early picks on the interior given that we extended AK and we have a decent foundation on the defensive interior
@@DerekwhodatCarr111 so you’d rather have all this money tied up in maybe a mediocre QB, who’s not the long term solution, and a bunch of aging players well past their prime?
It’s about starting anew and creating a solid foundation and that starts inside. A good O line can make an entire offense look way better than it may actually be on a player to player basis. Same thing with the D line.
I have been of the mind that we should get rid of Carr, and should have traded Taysom and Alvin, then start over, these are older players that could have brought us back picks, for the total rebuild that we so desperately need
Problematic for Loomis. Needs another cast off like Brees was. Loomis probably could have been in the mix for Darnold or Mayfield but picked Carr and picked WRONG. HE IS AN ACCOUNTANT Not a ex NFL player with a lucky pick of Peyton. Saints will not thrive under his stewardship
Mickey should go also.
We all know that its highly unlikely it wont happen.

0:16 time for loom is to go
Saints should be ready to move on from Mickey Loomis also. He's been kicking the can down the road for far too long.
Kick Mickeys can down the road
This
Let DC4 sit out the rest of the year even if healthy and lets see what Haener and Rattler can do. Let them split the four remaining games.
