The Z4 G29 is growing on me, didn’t like the looks as much as the E89 at first which I still think looks more elegant but the G29 does have lots of new tech, that exhaust note, new engine, new interior, better ride.
The only thing lacking is the hard top in the G29 which could be a deal breaker for some.
I’m still happy with my E89 though, quite a bargain as well.

I have the same 2020 car but I don't hear the pops and crackles - do I need to rev real hard? It's a new car so I don't want to try too hard. As for the interior, I am actually a bit disappointed because it's exactly the same as any other BMW 3 or 4 series, meaning nothing special!

It's not a 6 cylinder so the engine is just not the real thing...
E89 is the pinnacle of Z4, don't you agree?
Looking at the power parameters, you know that there is no difference between the two.
Also look at the details, don't look at the net and front face as soon as you come, that's not interesting.
Look at the door handle, it's very popular. If you look at the door handle of the E89, it is specially designed. Think about how I really love the E89. At least I don't feel much about those new electronic devices.

I can't love the car because the car should have a V6 engine.. I believe the exhaust sound is made with a sound box and therefore fake...
The suspension and steering are where the G29 is so much better... Interior plastics and fit are much better...
I imagine you have this car on a lease contract... Those that want to own the car will be put off by the long term quality of bmw which is not as good as before (especially the auto boxes).. Bmw are no worse than Audi and Mercedes in this respect.. All German cars are becoming more expensive and much less well built...
