CJ's Master Formula! Don't overlook Smaller Product Companies!! Here's Why!!

  • Today, we put CJ's Master Formula through the Apex Detail Review Process! Sealer Gloss is a protective coating designed to protect your metal and paint surfaces from water spots, stains and oxidation for up to one full year. Until now, most polished metals required constant polishing to maintain their shine. Some polishers polished every weekend. Our research shows that excessive polishing with poor polishes degrades the metal's finish. They leave a hazy build-up and bruise the metal with many fine scratches.
    Master Formula Products....www.master-for...
    Master Formula XTREME Gloss Instant Detailer was designed to satisfy the demands of the new generation. Instant perfection without compromise is required by a growing number of people.
    Our goal was to design a formula capable of polishing a car to an extreme high gloss in less than ten minutes. It had to have flawless reflections with no swirls, streaks, or spots and be effortless to use.
    The result of our research is the achievement of Master Formula Quick Gloss. This new spray-on polish produces a wet-look gloss with flawless reflections like a mirror. It's so easy, it's actually fun to use.
    We added some unique characteristics to the formula to enhance the ease of application and insure the gloss. When you spray it onto a surface, simply smooth it out and it begins to evaporate, streak-free, as you wipe it off.

    Brian, thanks so much for making this video. My dad has run this company for the last 40 years, but hasn't had the money to really market it. My dad recently got sick and our family was trying to decide if we were going to keep the business going, and this video was honestly what gave us the confidence to keep it going. We know that people love the products, we just have to get it in the hands of more people. Thank you so much.

    A friend of mine gave me some of their polish and their sealer to try on my stainless steel exhaust tips. Said he picked it up at a snowmobile rally in Michigan.
    Absolutely fantastic. This stuff WORKS. And, by using the sealer, carbon and dirt doesn't stick to the tips as much and what little does just washes off.
    An excellent product in my experience.
    Thanks for the review, Brian.

    It sheets water, but the sheeting became very SLOW rather quickly, and gravity was working heavily in favor of the product.

    • @jseichhorn
      @jseichhorn 3 года назад +1

      My thoughts exactly. Even though the other side of the panel had beads on it, the polisher didn't make it all the way over there during prep and it wasn't washed repeatedly with Reset so to my eyes, and based on how Brian has described other products when they fail, this looked like it failed very quickly.

    • @marksafady5986
      @marksafady5986 3 года назад +2

      @@jseichhorn 100% ! I'm not sure why Brian feels just because a product sheets, it's good, no matter how slowly it sheets. It's the rate of how FAST it sheets that should determine how good or bad it is. This product originally beaded(for the most part) after the first rinse, then turned from beading to sheeting after the only the second wash, and sheeted very slowly on top of that! Weak product!

    • @apexdetail85
      @apexdetail85  3 года назад +2

      Yet...no water spots would have formed. Look to the right at all of the beads of water that could potentially cause water spots. Its subjective to what is important to you I guess. I lean towards no water spots.

    • @apexdetail85
      @apexdetail85  3 года назад +3

      Wrong

    • @marksafady5986
      @marksafady5986 3 года назад

      @@apexdetail85 but it beaded during the first rinse, then changed to sheeting rather quickly, which makes it obvious the protection was degraded fairly quickly. Again, it sheeted very slow and gravity was heavily in its favor. Let’s not forget the horizontal panels on a car. On top of that, a sprinkler or rain water is going to bead on the paint, regardless. Sheeting is way overrated in real life scenarios.

  • @dlasti
    @dlasti 3 года назад +1

    To me, water sheeting is better than water beading. While water beading looks cool, water sheeting helps me with spotting, as I don't to wipe my car as often as I should. Great video.

    The majority of my detailing products are from smaller companies....or at least, companies that most people are unaware of and have never heard of. I just find that many of the smaller companies have quality products because they are trying to compete based on the quality of their products rather than rely on name brand recognition.

    Would like to request a test of Nova (NV) products if you have the interest. Formerly they were only sold in Australia but the Nova Jet is extremely interesting - extra hydrophobic and easy spray-on wipe off application. Would be a good contender to test against Turtle Wax though Nova is more expensive
