They buy in bulk and sell at an resonable rate and sometimes if you're luck you'll get high end laptop for almost 1/3 the original cost, and they may also offer few months warranty on the device. So check out in your city where is the computer market where all shops are selling computers.
Compared to other chrome books this is good enough to stand on those positions, that is if they maintain a constant pricing. But I don't think it is worth against an actual laptop or computer for a long term.

Well, I recently bought a second hand dell laptop from the offline market....It has an i3 6th gen processor and 4 GB ram.....I am a student and most of my work is completed by it....It has no scratches or anything.....I bought it for 11k....and I think it's way better than the prime book......

True, this laptop is only for upto 10th class max. From 11th class onwards, study is not limited to just 2-3 hrs of online classes. You want a reliable machine which can do anything you throw at it as fast as possible. You don't want to waste your time fixing bugs, finding workarounds. Primebook has terrible performacnce, it can't handle multitasking. 2nd hand windows laptop is your only good option.

No it is not sufficient for a student upto class 10 as it can not be used for java programming which is part of the syllabus. Yes one can use apps like Decoder to run java programs but they are network dependent and are not as powerful as running natively as these apps will time out when the execution time of the program is more than 30 seconds.

Lenovo IdeaPad D330 Intel Celeron 128gb is a better choice in my opinion, It is a proper windows laptop with touchscreen as well around 20k (will need to increase budget).

Nice product but I bought Penta windows tablet in 2016 for 5,500 rs it still works but there are few issues with it despite being windows I had difficulty using it to make research paper. For Normal use its fine though buying good smartphone is better idea.

I think the big fail of the Primebook is the 15,000 price point. When people are expected to buy phones above 20K, then why a laptop under 15K? Laptops are far more functional, usable, and needed for real work. Can only imagine the wonders of a 20K Rupee model with UFS Storage, a Snapdragon chipset. Afterall, the promise of this is super-big. This seems to be so much better than the Chromebook except these aspects (performance) and I don't even want to compare with the pathetic JioBook

you can do it still, with termux, acode, code server, etc but the experience is clunky and never comes anywhere close to a real Linux / windows system

yes im using a samsung tablet it is best for study... generally tablets are good for watching videos and stuffs. but i suggest u add 3-4k in your budget and purchase redmi pad believe me bro! its better in many ways

Nice product but I bought Penta windows tablet in 2016 for 5,500 rs it still works but there are few issues with it despite being windows I had difficulty using it to make research paper. For Normal use its fine though buying good smartphone is better idea.

I think the big fail of the Primebook is the 15,000 price point.
When people are expected to buy phones above 20K, then why a laptop under 15K? Laptops are far more functional, usable, and needed for real work. Can only imagine the wonders of a 20K Rupee model with UFS Storage, a Snapdragon chipset. Afterall, the promise of this is super-big. This seems to be so much better than the Chromebook except these aspects (performance) and I don't even want to compare with the pathetic JioBook
