Closing theme song for an anime. Stand alone single. No album announcement yet. I would imagine an announcement in and around their tour finale at Yokohama Arena for a new album in January.
One of their heaviest riffs probably. In this time I love how the rhythm section manages to rise so high and be so prominent in a song with such chunky riffs. Good job. Thank you!
Welcome to the great 'Thunder Buddies Show' hosted by MISA & Akane Freakin' Hirose! ⚡🔥 And as always with the very special guests Kanami, Saiki and Miku. 🤭 🤘🏻 _____________________ _"Sometimes we laugh because we're sad or to hide our frustration"_ - from *Gacharic Spin* -「 I Wish I 」 🎶✨
This is a closing for an anime so if they are true to form it won't be on an album. In a few years this will be one of those songs that people say, "This is fantastic! Why can't I find it anywhere?" But yes, we hope for a new album by the end of the year. They have a BIG concert scheduled for Yokohama Arena (17,000) on November 26th and they might use that as a springboard.
Yes, Shambles is the Akane show with special guest stars Kanami, MISA, Saiki and Miku. But wait! Was it really the Kanami show, because she wrote the song and played it with such forcefulness and exquisite abandon. Or was it the MISA show because without MISA, the rapturous drive of the song would be a ride on four flat tires. Or was it the Saiki show because she focused the sonic chaos into a song with melodies that could express Miku's lyrics like no other singer could. Without Saiki, Shambles might sound like a familiar instrumental. Or was it the Miku show because, damn, she wrote the lyrics, played the important rhythm parts, and added her unique brand of backup vocals that have become a defining "sixth instrument" of Band-Maid. So exactly whose show was it? It was the Maid's show, as usual! 🤘🎀🤘 Thx, MTN!
