I had a bad motorcycle accident in 2020. Lady pulled out in front of me making a left turn. Unfortunately I lost half my left leg. I had full gear, which prevented my death. But I didn't give up riding. It's trike life now. 😂
Ah dang man sorry to hear brother. However, it is awesome you had on full gear and made it out alive and still riding. You are a true rider. Hopefully, people will see your comment and it'll motivate them to wear gear. So many squid riders worry too much about looking good on a motorcycle and end up getting killed because of vanity.
@@CycleCruza I didn't even realize that my head on the street until my wife seen my helmet! My helmet, jacket and pants took the most road rash. I cringe everytime I see riders running 80+ mph with t-shirt and shorts on the interstate!
Here’s another tip: turn off your damn signal. No wonder why you’re experiencing people pull out in front of you, they don’t know where the hell you’re going!
Yeah I need auto signals but that doesn't condone someone pulling out on you. I've only had someone pull out on me about two times in 14 years. I believe Hi Viz and a loud exhaust can help..
You helped me alot when I first started riding like 8 years ago Cyclecruza! Don't have a FK up day like my friend did today. No helmet. No gear. Hit a deer doing 60. He's in the icu right now but he is going to make it. I'll always remember your advice about everything car is trying to kill you. It's such good advice.
@@shainlethal2742 If you watch the video CC is driving around with his indicators on, not turning them off. It is dangerous as drivers will assume you're turning and pull out in front of you
Public service announcement: For anyone local, just got back from southern Ohio an hour ago. Rt 26 is miles of construction and loose gravel at the moment. Great video as always Cruza...we are always geared up.
You're so right when you said "so many riders ride as though they are in a car, they don't ride defensively"!!! It's crazy how alot of people whether in a car or a motorcycle just have NO SENSE OF SELF PRESERVATION!!! Cruza, you DO have a motorcycle school man, this channel is it. You teach/taught ALOT of people how to ride, and ride SMART!! Those squid alerts were hilarious!! I am sure the EMT's that scrape them off the pavement will think their headbands matching their bikes is reeeal cute! 🤣🤣🤣
You right about the scooters. I fell off of one and was knocked out. Woke up in the hospital and was there for 2 days. Built up a 50,000 dollar bill from all the scanning and medication. Thank god for insurance because I didn’t have to pay a thing 😅
Glad you were okay after that. A buddy of mine (RIP, passed away this past year) was riding a moped home from our high school (back in the 80s) and a lady opened her car door, knocking him off the moped and putting him into a coma. When he came to, he didn't even recognize people/relatives for quite some time. Low speed crashes can cause a lot of damage. Lucky I didn't have more injuries. When I was in HS, my chain slipped on my ten speed bike and I fell straight down on my head and shoulder. Was okay though. Lucky.
brotha cyclecruza, I've been riding for 32 years now and not a single car hit me nor have I ever gotten into an accident. Just recently I bought a 2023 MV Agusta Rush Limited Edition about 5 months ago or so. I had 2 extra high beam auxiliary lights installed on each side of the winglets and I have them on every time I ride. Plus I had a usb socket installed in order to plug my phone for charging while riding :)..... They are so bright that they catch nearly 100% of any car making any left or right turns and when I'm at an intersection, 100% of the time, I wait 2 or 3 sections before entering the intersection to make any left turns! Also, I wear a vest airbag in addition to my light protective jacket(for summer/heavy jacket for winter). With my bright auxiliary lights, NO car has every turned(to their left) in the front of me because the lights are so bright...lol...lol.....Of course, where I live at here in Virginia, there's 4 master mechanic shops, all within 30 minutes ride, that can work on my MV if need be. Reliability has been pure genius without issues even after putting 6,127 miles on it so far.
Nice! Great to hear from a seasoned rider who has stayed safe, You are a wise rider. Most of the time riders get hurt from rider error and I would say riding in all black makes you extra invisible to cars. It is better to be seen. Bright lights can help too! Use everything to your advantage....
I hope to be ok as long as you! Been riding for 2weeks so far so good. My commute is very short. 20-30miles a day. I’m out the house around 5am so the roads are empty
The human eye looks for movement. When you see a car getting ready to turn left or enter your space. Move the bike left and right. Its called "swinging the lantern" never had an issue. I even had people wave
It's easy to see motion by looking at wheels, but that's not the ONLY thing to observe.

CycleCruza that thumbnail shook me up. Glad that was long ago. Recently we lost a man, no helmet. A former colleague also crashed, lucky to be alive. No helmet. as a HD service writer I encouage helmets. Raining today, no helmets on 90% of customers. Me, Helmet and rain gear, extra lights kept me comfortable and safe on country roads. Baggers, on the interstate, Rain, No helmets? hard to respect or wave to riders with no brain bucket in the rain. Rain & Helmet = intelligent motorcyclist. KEEP DOING THE GOOD WORK, hope to see you on the road some day. Respect.
I have been riding for a very long time and I cannot count how many riders I know that have been killed or maimed by the " Left " turning car.... they try to beat you underestimating your speed or simply do not see you. You are correct they see right through you. I ride paranoid as it happens to much and the rear ended accidents alot are from them looking down at their phones all ensconced in their sound proof car and the stereo blasting... stay safe as you can.
I started riding from watching your vids, you have been so inspiring and always give great advice. Ill admit, when driving ive been startled by motorcycles, even though I go out of my way to pay attention to as much as possible. Its scary, But you’d tips help riders, so thank you
Thanks for being a viewer! I appreciate you looking out for motorcycles. Yeah there ar emany fools out there on motorcycles, I've been startled by many as well when in my car. All I can do is shake my head and hope they stay safe.
Riding whether it be in the dirt or on the street is a thing of the past for me, but I still love watching your channel👍🏻 I have no idea how many miles I have on a motorcycle, but it’s a lot. Broke a collarbone in a similar fashion to the one you did, other than that I enjoyed it with no injuries.
Thanks for being a viewer! I appreciate you. Why did you stop riding? Man that collarbone fracture sucked. My neighbor broke both of his collarbones and can't lift his arms up.
A fire arms content creator (in his 70's) finally shared an update video. He fell in his kitchen carrying in groceries, slipped all over the floor like Fred Flintstone and tried to prevent his fall grabbing an overhead oven handle. Well, he fell. Busted his support arm, the upper arm bone in 3 places. And while going down, his arm which he tried stopping the fall, dislocated at the shoulder very badly. One stinking fall in the house and he's got an arm flopping around in a very unnatural way and the other arm busted in 3 places. Hadn't it been for someone who called for help, he'd have died. Couldn't do anything about either arm. Through a series of events at the hospital they ended up having to place his dislocated shoulder back without anesthesia. He said the process took a lot longer than he wished and so much pain he forgot his other arm was all busted up. Months and months of recover and rehab, he's back, but limited ability to help himself yet. Said his medical/PT bills are reaching 900 grand. Insurance will cover a big chunk of that, but it's outrageous what it costs. Also he's endured hell living at at PT home being fed like a baby until his arm mobility came back. Some people don't even need a motorcycle to have a very cursed up day...month...year.
@@CycleCruza Well this could turn into a long story. Sold my dirt bikes, and my street bikes when I became a dad. Then when she got into high school I thought well if her dad gets killed now, it won’t be as big shock as she was just a little girl. And then I put it off for a while. A while turned into quite a while. And then I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I survived, which is very rare, but my new normal is not great. Aggressive chemo basically fried my brain. I’m kind of a dingbat now. When I finally quit shopping for a street bike, I had decided on a triumph. But then I realized I probably shouldn’t do that at my age. I’m old and frail and like Dwight Yoakam says baby things change. Thanks for the vids man. Yeah my collarbone turned into a bad deal. There was a chunk of bone laying in the overlap. 😬 I finally found a Doctor Who could fix it, but he said you don’t want me too. Two years of bone graphs is what he said it would take. I said you’re right I don’t want you to fix that. Finally healed, but I’m pretty short to the shoulder on that side 😂 I get my writing fix from you and fort9 and a few other guys.
People's eyes follow movement more than color when they are not looking for color. When approaching suspicious intersections I get close to a car that is also going. It doesn't matter if they see me because they will see the car. Move to the right lane so if they go, they will hit the car. But also stay on the left side of the lane in case someone makes a right turn. If there is not a car near me I do a little swerve motion and position myself in plain view. Sometimes intersections or driveways may have light poles, plants, parked cars, decorations, etc. A motorcycle is so small it can easily get lost behind visual obstructions from a car's view. Most important, slow down when you approach those situations and have an escape plan. In these situations, since there are no cars around you then is not like a car will hit you from behind. This requires you to constantly check your mirrors and be aware of your surroundings. Also always ride with the high beams on during the day. I live in a particularly busy "suburb" area. It has large shopping areas and traffic can be heavy on some roads. I began riding in Southern California and everyone knows about traffic over there. As a noob I got hit from behind while stopping in a freeway. Luckily I was not injured. As a side note I would think construction orange would be more visible because people look for orange due to construction zones and fines are double. In fact when I was in the military you had to wear an orange vest when riding a motorcycle in base. At least in the US.
As a rider and a life long truck driver, what helps me is slowing down at all intersections to a safer speed, always looking far down range, assume other drivers may not see you period. From what I’ve seen so far is speed and stupidity kills
out here in miami, you need to assume everyone is literally blind. no joke. slow through intersection, slow when you see a car trying to make a turn out of a shopping center. so many people down here with no helmet. Drivers on their phones, potholes fukin everywhere. I been watching you since i was 17 years old, im 28 now and i just recently got my first bike, a drz400. stay safe brother
You are a good one, I would not even ride a motorcycle in S. FL. hell its dangerous driving a car there let alone a motorcycle. I used to live in Boca ( my family still lives in S. FL) and my former neighbor got killed on a motorcycle and everybody I knew who ride had their bike stolen. It is crazy down there, I won't even visit my mom down there. haha I told she has to come to Ohio. Thanks for being a long time viewer, I truly appreciate it. Great to see you got a DRZ400, nice bike! I wish you safety down there!
I also live here in Miami and I been riding motorcycle since 2003 and never had a accident..I’m a truck driver with a CDL license, so I have to drive as safely as possible so don’t get any traffic tickets and avoid accidents..one thing that I have in mind when riding the bike is to follow the SMITH SYSTEM: I’m high in the steering Get the big picture Make sure they see you Leave your self an out Keep your eyes moving
I had a bike accident back in december last year and got pulled out on by a van who failed to stop at a give way. Bike was a write off, i had broken both right wrist bones and collar bone that was it. I was really lucky! Had alot of bruising and few head transfer burns. Had full good quality gear. I see so many people going out on bikes without gloves and it blows my mind 😂
I was riding my Yamaha XV17 Roadstar cruiser style bike just exiting off the Major Deegan Expwy here in NYC. I had a short-sleeve on w/a the same Helite airbag vest CC wears. In fact he inspired me to make purchase. Apparently a Honda CRV clipped me from behind & I laid the bike down. I had my half-helmet on & it took a nice shot to both sides. That Helite airbag vest saved me from more serious injury. Best $650- from Revzilla I ever spent. Getting hit from the back while exiting there was nothing I could do. This was 2023 Labor Day weekend at 11pm. Stay vigilant boys.
My youngest son Joshua, only had one accident on his motorcycle, but it was enough to end his life. A 79 year old woman, who wasn’t even supposed to be driving at night, didn’t see him and pulled out right in front of him. The left turn scenario. He was wearing full gear, but his helmet came off apparently and he died from massive head injuries.
I ride with the high beams on in the sportbike. And on the bobber, high beam on and YELLOW flood light on. If you are in front of me, you fucking see me!!!! 😅
There is only so much you can do trying to protect yourself. Sometimes, what's gonna happen is gonna happen. I understand what he is saying, but every situation is not the same. I respect this channel and have been watching for a while. At the same time, this channel is like Mr. Rodgers' version of motorcycle life. No disrespect.
Wearing Hi-Vis is a double-edged sword… The problem being that the rider then EXPECTS others to actually see them, instead of anticipating that they will not be seen and riding accordingly.
As a motorcycle commuter I rely on visibility and audible methods of alerting car drivers of my presence. Auxiliary light on the front of the bike are important. A loud aftermarket horn I think works much better than exhaust. When cars warn each other they use their horn, they don't rev their motors. Another important device is a brakefree helmet light that does not require any modifications to the bike and mounts to any helmet.
During my time of staying in the Philippines it’s very common for motorists to honk as they are passing any possible turns just in case a car might be coming up I found it to be extremely effective in preventing accidents I think it’s something the US really needs to adopt
To help avoid getting hit from the back: Leave your fender on and replace your turnsignals with dual function ones. [Don't do an integrated turn signal.] It adds 2 extra brake lights to help keep you safe.
Yeah its a middle ground of enjoying being on the bike and having fun but also being super alert. Off topic ,That MT 07 looks perfect for downtown city riding. I was thinking going naked for my next bike instead of getting something like a gsxr. I'm upgrading from the ninja 650.
I hardly ever wear gear and I’ve been riding forever, I commute almost daily around Hollywood /LA. Take it from a city rider. It’s not about gear, yes it helps in case you do wreck. But, it’s all about making yourself known and sometimes predictable. Flashing headlights while splitting, swerving slowly through traffic. little Revs, Avoiding blind spots and judging people’s driving patterns. If they’re swaying around either pass them up fast or stay away. Never speed through intersections, or blind corners. Learn to read people. The list goes on. I think cycle Cruza fails to understand gear is only supposed to cushion the fall. you’re supposed to AVOID the fall. and best avoidance is defensive riding, bright lights and some decent pipes. Trust me they’ll see a bright headlight before they see your yellow jacket. Fast lane D was probably speeding and was invisible to incoming traffic. always slow down in intersections
The reason the drivers say the didn't see the motorcycle is kinda fault of the car design. The left and right front frame bars blocks view. So if a car is approaching an intersection and the rider is also, the angle often matches perfectly, blocking the view. I have seen this happen to me while driving car, it blocked the other car completely at an intersection. I scared the hell out of me. The only way to avoid this is to completely come to a complete stop, and move your head around to get the view that the front frames are blocking. If you havne't realized this from driving, I suggest you do before you run over a child at an intersection.
Cyclecruza love to see ya take a road trip to Tennessee and do tail of the dragon with the YZ or the KTM. Beautiful scenery. You got some cool bikes man. Love the channel
I would love to make a trip there and will one day for sure. I nearly bought a country home right off of Tail of the Dragon in TN. Right now, I nearly finished renovating my house which has sapped my time but in a few weeks I'll be free of that and ready to take a trip somewhere like TOD and otehr cool places. I need to get my BugOut Van ready too. Thanks for being a viewer, I appreciate it!
I just fun cruise the country roads on my z400. The biggest lesson I learned is don't ride all the time. If you have that gut feeling or you just are going through it and I really feel in it let that be your gut instinct to just stay home make sure you ride when you feel good and aware. ❤ Yall
Do the speed limit.Slow down when going thru an intersection.Look left and right.Finger on your front brake.Foot on the back brake.Check mirrors often for possible escape route, quick lane change.Take a motorcycle safety course. They have classes for newbies, intermediate and advanced riders. You will learn things that you never thought about.Empty parking lot great place to practice panic breaking and quick maneuvers.Life saving techniques to lessen the chances of an accident.Oh yah.Dont drink or do drugs while riding. Peace.
In Jamaica, the bikers use hazards light and horns a lot when lane splitting or just riding around. I see a lot of riders use horns because it makes everybody know that something is coming. It's out down on fatality a lot and the use of the horn is the first thing taught in safety classes on the island
Good advice. I've been riding motorcycles since 1978 in Europe. USA has five times more accidents per motorcycle than Europe and two times more than India. I just looked at Forbes statistics. In USA: 1) More than a third of fatal motorcycle accidents (36 %) involve riders who do not have a valid license to drive a motorcycle. 2) More than a third of fatal motorcycle accidents (34 %) involve a motorist traveling at excess speed. 3) More than a third of fatal motorcycle accidents (38 %) occurred when riders were not wearing a helmet. 4) 27% of motorcycle accident deaths involved alcohol. Your points made in this video was also mentioned. Please ride safe over there!
"Commuting will increase your chances of dying." I disagree. Riding on a daily basis practices your mental skills, road strategy, motor memory [quick reaction time without thinking]. Makes me a better rider.
Good advice, Cruza. You have to be paranoid about traffic hazards and road surface problems. To alert a potential left-hand-turn driver I will sometimes waggle my bike a little to sparkle them with the headlight. They see you approach with a slight wobble it catches their attention. Also, the top of the rider is the most noticed part, so it is a good idea to wear at least a high viz helmet -- nerdly looking, but effective. That is why moto cops seem to always have white helmets. Prevention, prevention.
Cyclecruza keep your eyes on the road, you gone crash bro! 😂😂 On a real note, the points you raised are valid. Unfortunately common sense is not common. Keep up the good work. 👍🏿
I hear what you are saying, I do commute on a bike it's my vehicle of choice. I also let down my guard and got rear ended last year but hey, people in cars died too. I think the major things should be gear and defensive riding.
I commuted to San Francisco on a motorcycle everyday in crazy traffic for 10 years. It’s what made me a very experienced street rider. No accidents while commuting. I wrecked doing stunts 💯🤣🤣
CC I would say add lights to your bike!!! I added some small bright LED driving lights to my bike. Game changer. People in there cars will see you day or night
Excellent video on Motorcycle safety! By the way, that Yamaha MT 07 looks like a great looking maneuverable bike. Good choice, especially for the City!
@@CycleCruza Got to test ride one at the local Dealership in Fort Lauderdale. But unfortunately, the Dealership near me doesn't allow anyone to test ride bikes because of insurance reasons.
What jacket or upper body protection do you recommend for Floridians ? Its insanely hot and humid here and it's difficult getting to places without being sweaty.

I had a real f up day on my 125 on a dual carriageway, first time ever. I try ride safe man, it wasn’t my fault. The van ahead of me out of nowhere brake like hell and 125 brakes are shit, i slowed down a bit but crashed into the corner of the van and flipped over. I was wearing a jacket but only genes so I f**ked up my knees pretty good. Chest took a minor hit from the handle bar. I couldn’t get up for like 5 mins, people tried help but I said I was fine and for whatever reason I didn’t call the ambulance, (I should have) didn’t cross my mind, idk why lol. After that I hopped on the bike, the handle bar was messed up, but i managed to ride it somehow. Also the van left as soon as I hit it, still dont know why he stopped so aggressively. My knees scratched all over, took a hard hit and couldn’t walk or sit properly for like 2 weeks, I let it heal on its own.
Back in March 2020 I lost a friend I just met earlier that day, long story short I’m on my 7th bike going on my 8th cuz bike is life lol, be careful y’all!
All the gear all the time, ride like you’re invisible and stick to speed limits. Helps if you have hi viz, I noticed after I started wearing a white helmet and ride a white bike with day light running lights less people pull out on me.
By law, road construction and other road workers have to wear hi viz gear. Studies have shown that hi viz can be greatly beneficial, is it fool proof? No, but you want to use everything to your advantage to help stay safe.
Maaaaann about 2 years ago October 2022 I had some on-coming car make a sudden left (in my path) an took me OUT,IDFK HOW OR WHAT EVEN WAS WATCHING OVER ME because although it was at 60mph I collapsed BOTH lungs and DID NOTTT BREAK A SINGLE BONE
Have a camera or two on your bike! Had a bad accident in 2020 a man ran a red light. He said he didnt see me and "casually pulled to the side of the road" People will lie!! He was at fault. Thankfully there were three witnesses! Otherwise he probably would have left the scene with his lying attitude.
Cyclecruza they are selling the 790 duke for 8000 please test ride one ,Its an amazing bike,Supermotos are for the street really,You could buy a dual sport and the 790 for that price,
I was thing about getting crazy and picking up a new 1390 just because of that 100 lb-ft of torque. That is a great deal on the 790 which is also a sick bike and has more power than you'll ever need but I always wanted to experience the SDR torque.
I took a 1290 SDR on a demo some years ago at a KTM event. Lead rider was going pretty fast, like WOT from stops around the 20+ mile loop. Got to feel the powa. Quickshifter rip away from low speed up over 100 didn't take long at all. The torque on that big Vtwin is pretty otherworldly. And I do think you could get bored doing legal traveling around with a motor that big.

I’m just south of Columbus. I should come up and ride with ya for a day. Got a new 8s. lol
Fucking legend. Sorry for your leg homie
Wow bro.. what a bad ass.
sorry to hear that gang
Here’s another tip: turn off your damn signal. No wonder why you’re experiencing people pull out in front of you, they don’t know where the hell you’re going!
😂
Yeah I need auto signals but that doesn't condone someone pulling out on you. I've only had someone pull out on me about two times in 14 years. I believe Hi Viz and a loud exhaust can help..
You helped me alot when I first started riding like 8 years ago Cyclecruza! Don't have a FK up day like my friend did today. No helmet. No gear. Hit a deer doing 60. He's in the icu right now but he is going to make it.
I'll always remember your advice about everything car is trying to kill you. It's such good advice.
I couldn't stop staring at your blinker on the whole time 😂
Yes bad habit. I need an auto blinker asap!
@CycleCruza my buddy does it alot and I always give him crap for it lmfao
It's a CC tradition! 😄
We call him now blinker curza :)
That causes accidents also, car think your turning but your going straight…smh
I came here for the high-quality accident recreation animation and you didn't dissapoint
🤣😂
Another safety tip is to cancel your indicators :P
yes
LOL It's a no brainer that tip.
@@davemarshall9322 I know. LOL
I don’t think I understand this one can you explain why?
@@shainlethal2742 If you watch the video CC is driving around with his indicators on, not turning them off. It is dangerous as drivers will assume you're turning and pull out in front of you
@FastLaneD takes the mirrors off his bikes...not a smart move. You should always be in 1st at a light watching your mirrors and ready to jet.
That is probably the worst mod you can do to a bike. You only take the mirrors off for track riding only, NEVER for street.
All the R1 riders in the UK on this new thing no mirrors, I say this, yes you're fast but there is always faster
That’s crazy cuz I love the way stock mirrors look on most sport bikes 😂 you gotta be a fool to take them off
@@NudaManThere are a lot aesthetically pleasing alternatives. Like you need to be told that...
I used to sometimes flash brights real quick. I'd be careful some people would take that as telling them to go.
Public service announcement: For anyone local, just got back from southern Ohio an hour ago. Rt 26 is miles of construction and loose gravel at the moment. Great video as always Cruza...we are always geared up.
Cycle Cruza: how to avoid having a F’d up day…
👍💯
CC Because of your channel, I bought a Helite Vest. Best decision ever.
Gonna try that next time
"You gotta look in their eyes" Me staring at my reflection on their 5% tint
Yeah In my area a lot cars have tinted windows. So better to look at the wheels moving I guess.
Respect.
No helmet - Gotta love the Freedumb in the US.
The majority of my riding is done at night or in the evening. I'm in Toronto, and it's mad busy during the day, plus people drive like goofys
Your right you almost gotta practice your spidey sense!
Yep!
All I can do is shake my head and hope they stay safe.
good to see you still out there.
Good to see you too!
Laud have mercy! Love it. Thanks for the tips. Love your vids. God bless!
We get taught to move around in your lane when approaching a car waiting to turn. Like you said, it is supposed to help.
@@r1learner178I’ll try this today. Thanks!
Hey Cleveland right here love the shout-out vide I used to have one of these mt-09 now I have a 95 ST1100
I also live here in Miami and I been riding motorcycle since 2003 and never had a accident..I’m a truck driver with a CDL license, so I have to drive as safely as possible so don’t get any traffic tickets and avoid accidents..one thing that I have in mind when riding the bike is to follow the SMITH SYSTEM:
I’m high in the steering
Get the big picture
Make sure they see you
Leave your self an out
Keep your eyes moving
Do both, wear hi viz AND ride defensively. Definitely wear the airbag gear too!
I will be looking like the Michelon Man lol. I have gone down on a moped and that shit hurts.
Yeah better safe than sorry. Airbag technology is a game changer.
Before school Cruza you need to stick to basic fail is leaving turn signal on
During my time of staying in the Philippines it’s very common for motorists to honk as they are passing any possible turns just in case a car might be coming up I found it to be extremely effective in preventing accidents I think it’s something the US really needs to adopt
It’s not a problem of them seeing you it’s a problem of them not paying attention
There are no airbag vests for bigger guys like myself. Ive looked everywhere too.
Then u don't need one, u have Built in cushion
Why don't you contact the manufacturer Helite and see if they will make you a custom size. Tell them CycleCruza sent you!
Fast lane D 😮
I started riding about 4 months ago on an r3. I wear a hit-air airbag vest. No close calls yet, but I take note to drive slower through intersections.
To help avoid getting hit from the back:
Leave your fender on and replace your turnsignals with dual function ones. [Don't do an integrated turn signal.] It adds 2 extra brake lights to help keep you safe.
I'm only an hr away from Cleveland. God bless what you do
Yeah its a middle ground of enjoying being on the bike and having fun but also being super alert. Off topic ,That MT 07 looks perfect for downtown city riding. I was thinking going naked for my next bike instead of getting something like a gsxr. I'm upgrading from the ninja 650.
Yeah the MT-07 is a great urban cruiser. It is small, lightweight, torquey, great sound with a pipe and comfy. I love it.

preach, very good solid tips to riders, never trust cars and stay far away from Mini Vans, I agree with this vlog and message
I highly recommend the break free light for the back of your helmet. It works great!! That will help avoid a rear end.
❤ Yall
WELCOME BACK, CYCLE CRUZA!!!!!!
You talk about Hi-Viz and how they don't see us, so did my MSF Instructor. However, in my accident, the driver admitted that he didn't even look.
I've had several close calls...
*NEW VIDEO:* The DARK truth About CycleCruza (See Video!!):

Good advice. I've been riding motorcycles since 1978 in Europe. USA has five times more accidents per motorcycle than Europe and two times more than India. I just looked at Forbes statistics. In USA:
1) More than a third of fatal motorcycle accidents (36 %) involve riders who do not have a valid license to drive a motorcycle.
Love your video. You got good sense and I feel exactly the same way
"Commuting will increase your chances of dying."
I disagree. Riding on a daily basis practices your mental skills, road strategy, motor memory [quick reaction time without thinking]. Makes me a better rider.
I hit my horn and monitor brake lights all the time. Good stuff, Sir !!

The RUclipsr you mentioned is FastLane D.
Great dude btw. He’s walking around on crutches but he’s good
Yeah I saw, extremely lucky. Many riders don't walk away from accidents like that.
Always ride with high beams on
Good advice, Cruza.
What bike is that?
Well said. Way too confident on the roads man.
8:45 freaky unc 😂
bro you mad funny wit them baddies fr 😂😂😂
Cyclecruza keep your eyes on the road, you gone crash bro! 😂😂
On a real note, the points you raised are valid. Unfortunately common sense is not common.
Keep up the good work. 👍🏿
I hear what you are saying, I do commute on a bike it's my vehicle of choice. I also let down my guard and got rear ended last year but hey, people in cars died too. I think the major things should be gear and defensive riding.
Here in Cincinnati it's been in the 90s
I commuted to San Francisco on a motorcycle everyday in crazy traffic for 10 years. It’s what made me a very experienced street rider. No accidents while commuting. I wrecked doing stunts 💯🤣🤣
CC I would say add lights to your bike!!! I added some small bright LED driving lights to my bike. Game changer. People in there cars will see you day or night
Great advice video - Thank you. Cheers
I can tell by your riding, that you are safe rider.
Excellent video on Motorcycle safety! By the way, that Yamaha MT 07 looks like a great looking maneuverable bike. Good choice, especially for the City!
Thanks! Yeah the MT-07 is an awesome city bike, small lightweight and sounds great too. I love it.
Most of the riders here in miami refuse to put a helmet on
@@MrRandyMarsh1they nuts. Well Miami traffic doesn’t flow so well so i understand.

A lot of drivers LOOK for cars. They not looking for motorcycles
Ride safe to all my riders
This is gold info . The motorcycle is a mental exercise that will kill you if you behave badly lazy ego filled expressions.
You sound like Vanilla Ice
🧊 but dude he shows off way to much dude be acting like a little kid revving his bow by the candy store 😂😂😂
Like he’s 16 with a gsxr1000 vibes on steroids raging moto too ❤
I had a real f up day on my 125 on a dual carriageway, first time ever.
Good info Mr Wigger...
But you collapsed both lungs. You sorta gotta have those for oxygen.
Maybe mirrors would of helped fastlane d notice the car coming at him from behind.... But idk since it happened at night
Damn them roads in downtown are pretty rough. lol what’s so cool about Cleveland (Joakim Noah voice) 😂
7:19 eventually he’ll cancel that right turn signal lol hey happens to the best of us.
It's hot in Austin Texas but I can ride 365 days a year. Living in a frozen tundra is a cult. I'll pray for y'all
Squid alert, squid alert!
🤣🤣.. We need a meme with this
I look much better in my armored leather jacket, jeans, gloves, and boots than I do with a t shirt on LOL
Yeah there a lot of fools driving cars, especially down South in FL and GA, some of the worst drivers I ever experienced.
Get a Denali Sound Bomb air horn on that MT-07. The OEM horn is a complete joke, as most OEM horns are.
@CycleCruza the 790 is all you need even has a tire pressure gauge on it,actually has more options tft is great
@CycleCruza I already own 3 litre bikes 1390 is way over kill,790 is small and light
