Having watched Charles Barkley throughout his career,he had more blocked shots on breakaway fast breaks than any other player I've ever seen. He gets a bad rap for not being a top defender but he showed a tremendous amount of hustle
Chuck says "Don't bring that weak sauce into MY HOUSE!" Chuck got bashed a lot on how he plays defense, but how bad could he have been when you look at all the blocks, steals and defensive rebounds he got? He wasn't a CLASSIC defender, I know, but he was really good at what he did.
Yeah it's a really bad narrative they put out there bcuz defensive rebounds are part of defense, lol, and we all know Chuck was a monster on the boards. I find new media has swept Charles under the rug, they suck balls
