A elevated blouse outside the “box”. It would be nice, if you should have the blouse to see how you are styling it. Also the boxy brown jacket is a forever piece. I’m still surprised at how much black is shown at COS and Massimo Duty and how much i see in your wardrobe. I like how you style black pieces but honestly I don’t think it’s the best neutral for most blondes. I get way more compliments when I wear bags, purses shoes coats , things near my face that are closer to my fair blonde hair and warm undertoned fair skin color.

(the pillow clutch is so cool, and I love capes (especially with a long sleeve shirt) but I'm petite and they always come in one size fits all. that doesn't suit me. The way you explain each item is so helpful in deciding what is for you!.

I ordered that wool jacket from cos and it was way too big. I ordered an XS. I’m 5’2 and about 110 pounds. That belt you mentioned, I ordered an xs, and the length wasn’t long enough. Gotta return and they have a return fee of $5. Probs won’t be shopping at cos again
Is there no description of each item so you can see if it's oversized or the length of the belts before you purchase them even sites like shien have the measurements of each item and tell you if it has stretch or is rigid the fabric make up but also how it feels to touch so I'm assuming that cos at their price range it would have a similar description drop down bit for each item ASOS also does it ❤
As a petite myself, I totally understand what you mean. Cos has nice items, but some of them are oversized for petites! Lydia has said before that some Massimo Dutti items are slightly bigger for her too and not all measurements are reliable.
Your first 5-10 minutes of this video where you provide questions and tips on how to identify and select what (if anything) to add to one's wardrobe was 10/10 incredibly helpful. As for the COS items shared, I did not like any of the pieces as they are not remotely my style - with the exception of that last top, the belt, and the trousers. I'm set for the silver buckled belt and trousers -- and while that long-sleeve shirt is lovely, that shade of red would be horrible on me. How do I know all of this? Because I learned about personal style and determining color from your other videos. You are the best style influencer I've watched (and I admit that I watch some of your shorts an videos 'on repeat' 🙂 because I always, always, always learn something). It is no wonder or surprise that you have so many subscribers. Thank you, Lydia!
Thank u for the clothing suggestions. The white trousers you have on are not very flattering fit in my opinion. If those are the on trend balloon trousers they do nothing for a women's hips. A definite no.
The way that COS models are represented make them look so pretentious and, quite frankly, freaky.. to me, they are so far removed from real women and don’t make me want to invest in their pieces. I love your videos and your advice but this one is not for me.. 🥴

agreed but it can be worn several ways - the collar can be rolled/turned down, and with a few buttons left undone.
Those brands are two of my faves right now. Quince is pretty great for very basic pieces. Unfortunately we can’t get Arket or Quince in Canada. 😭

So true. Low-contrast colouring, black can be a bit too much of a contrast.

Thank you, I love the feel of Marino wool but the holes that come up in them, cashmere and Marino blend tend to not get those little holes in them.
