Ali Plumb is by far the best interviewer in the world. No one, not a single other journalist or host can make an interview look as natural, effortless, genuine and at the same time interesting, truly captivating. Hayley is always terrific too. This was 13 minutes of my life I would never want to have back.
Could not agree more. For me, it's Ali's ability to joke & have a good time with these celebrities like he's known them forever & always ask them great, interesting questions. Way too many interviewers try to get humor, but it ends up being cringey. Ali makes it feel organic & natural, like a conversation with an old friend. I've never met anyone famous, so I'd probably end up looking like a babbling, stuttering fanboy just running into them on the street, let alone trying to have a coherent conversation.

But it's exactly what he should have said, to emphasize the next part. Being insanely proud of someone you don't know is a little stalkery and a little human-in-the-best-possible-way.
