Did someone say Hawaii? Absolutely love going to Hawaii!! Did the Pride of America cruise around the Hawaiian Islands back in 2012!! Then have gone to Oahu and Maui in 2017 and 2023!! My husband and I went to the Disney Aulani(same, we could only afford one night there) Never been to Disney but we enjoyed the Aulani!! Had the character breakfast!! So much fun!! I will definitely be watching you Hawaii vlogs!! Aloha and have a fabulous time in Hawaii!! 🤙🏼🌺
Hey I met you both by accident a couple years ago on Symphony. I stepped off the elevator and there you were lol. At the time I did not know that you were going to be on the ship. This time even though I'm not part of your group I will be on Valiant lady at the same time as you guys for the celebration voyage so will definitely say hello if I see you. And did you get the notification today about Boy George?!?! So exciting!!
Ululani’s is popular for shave ice in Kona. Matsumoto (on the North Shore) is the place for it on Oahu. Garlic Shrimp on Oahu’s North Shore also popular. Look for a plate lunch - entree(s) + rice and Macaroni salad (or green salad) - you can do a combo of entrees, like loco moco or kalua pork or spam. Spam musubi is a slice of Spam on rice wrapped with nori (often sold in convenience stores)… when I did a one-night stay at Aulani, I didn’t leave the property - I was getting my money’s worth of being there! If you need little souvenirs or snacks, even meals, look for an ABC Store (called Island Country Markets across from Aulani). Shortbread cookies (with or without macadamia nuts) are popular, especially from Honolulu Cookie Co. POG/ Jungle Juice at WDW is great when fresh (juice, not drink). …Aulani is a very good combination of Hawaiian culture meets Disney. It’s just really tall for proper Hawaiian. Hawaii vacations and Alaska cruises are the best. Have a great trip.
Noah is doing the same thing my son was doing and it will be years before she totally sleeps alone on her room. My son will sleep in his bed but will later wake up and look for me. I ended up sleeping on his bed.❤
