We need farmers, electricians, repair eorkers, construction workers, fisherman, house maids, sweepers, public workers, youtubers, content creators, teachers , professors, engineers, start up leaders, pilots, army people and several more. We need all professions in a country to thrive in a society.. But there is a big differnce and gap between doctor/medical prfession and rest . there is a huge nobelity and humanity asociated along with knowledge ,intelligence ,talent and skills in this profession which is not found in anyyy of the professions existing. You can earn money by several illegal things also. Earning money is not the sole goal in life But

Bit after cracking neet this year i will leave this btech cause its of no use unless you do it from top tier colleges like top 5 iits or top 5 nits or top 5 iiits. I practiced maths more than bio so couldnt do well this year in neet 2021. But now i am working hard and giving my best. And also i was not at all serious in my 11th which i wasted completely. In 6 months serious study i got 520
Never regretting becoming a doctor. Here we deal with life and death. And the field is highly rewarding. And self respectfull. You will never be bored with ur profession cause u will be always having adrenaline rush. But engineers are good only top 10 percent who graduated from IIT and that too core branches like CS and ECE. But in case of medicine, from wherever college u graduate same salary and respect u get. So it doesn't affect your future career cause it solely depends on your skills
@Pushkarvs actually he is trying to decrease the competition by making u afraid. The struggle is only in 20s but you will be paid heavily. And once you r in 30s your income jumps to 10x times

You can be teaching in academics in med school as well be in private practice as well be in corporates . there is no bar. You are not restricted full independence. Even a bams doctor earns about 3-4 lacs in private hospitals can u imagine thats just in their mid to late 20s

They are in tendency to shift the mindset of people from medicine to other professions where there are no jobs avaible XD. also resident/stydent doxtors aged 23-25 dont get huge salary in their 20s caus they are still in the phase of studying, like rest of the profession/engineering. You have to struggle and work hard both mentally and physically sleepless night in your early 20s which they point out. But they never say how your life will change and how your presence will influence others in society and family in their 30s,40s,50s,60s,70s till u die... You have to be honest with what u do and follow the process and money in this field will run behind you i am seeing my uncle and several other known people

Im studying nutrition which is also medical science. The best thing is you always feel gratified. So many blessings , etc you are life saver! Mbbs takes years but ig no one regrets their choice .

@omprakashdudhe8001 medical is not all about cutting bodies, there is psychology, physiology, etc that doesn't require you to cut bodies. Only the surgical courses require you to do operations.

Only 15 lakhs student registered for neet 20 lakhs for jee. And 15 lakhs student competing for 83 thousand seats, while 20 lakhs student competing for for only iit , so getting into iit is more competitive and tougher then àiims . All 20 lakhs are competing for only iit not other damn engineer college
Dont run like an ant one behind the other for Engineering/Medical/UPSC. Think what interests you and then plan for that. There are many other bachelor courses in India related to product/fashion design, achitecture, agri, sports and many more that pay much more.
