Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl Ms. Hunter Harness. Your glow is different in a wonderful way Dr. Nina. So happy you and baby are healthy! Mother of 3 daughters, 15 12 & 12 and hope to have a son when that time comes. 38 currently and will begin eating more mindfully so our development will be on point. Do you have any suggestions on a quality prenatal supplement to incorporate in the meantime? Blessings to the Harness family 🙏🏾
Congratulations!!! I got married at 39, Bachelor degree at 42, Masters degree at at 43, and gave birth 3 weeks ago to a healthy baby boy at 44. God is amazing and will give you the desires of your heart in his timing.
My mom had my sister at 37 and me at 39. My sister is 35 and I’m 33 and my mother just turned a beautiful 73! So it’s not too late I love your story Dr. Nina!
I met my husband at 37, we got married 5 months later. We had our baby 7 weeks ago and I still can’t believe I’m finally somebody’s mama at 40 years old😃. My pregnancy was traumatic and scary. The labor and delivery was scary as well. My baby had to be born quick because of preeclampsia and extreme vomiting. He came a month early at 3 pounds. With all my sickness and hospital stays throughout my pregnancy, my baby was small but very healthy, alert, and nosey😂. He only needed help with feedings. We both stayed in the hospital. I stayed for 8 days and he stay for 2 weeks. He came home at 4 pounds 13 oz. We are doing great and I’m so excited for this journey of motherhood. I just love my handsome baby boy. I thank God we are healthy and thriving. My husband is so cute either the baby❤ Congratulations to you and your baby girl🙂
Same story with my daughter born at 31 weeks gestation, 3lbs 12oz. Stayed in the hospital 2 weeks, discharged when she could stay warm at 4lbs 3oz. 14 years later she’s healthier than my two full term babies
I met my husband @ 24, and had twins @39. Everyone just assumes it was IVF because everyone assumed we couldn't have kids. I wish people would mind their business. But these kids came at a time that was good for us, not everybody else. I'm very happy I didn't have kids before this. I didn't want kids in my 20s. I only felt ready to have kids when I actually had them
I had my son at 37. Great pregnancy. Labor was so painful. I went into labor on Friday and didn’t get an epidural until 11 am on Sunday. My son came 8 hours later. I went from 5 centimeters to 10 in less than an hour. I felt every bit of it with the epidural. 😭 But my son came out perfect. I’m 40 and open to having another baby. Thanks for sharing. 💖
Congratulations. I met my husband at 37. Had to take a journey alone to grow got back together and married at 41. I had my son at 44. My journey has been interesting but I wouldn’t change it for anything. I am who I am because of my journey. My husband and son came into my life when they needed to because I had some growing to do so that I could be the wife and mother I am today.
Congratulations Dr. Nina, I am 41 and I just delivered my first child on December 15th. I too wouldn't trade that for anything in the world. I had a scheduled c-section due to a high risk pregnancy and having a small pelvis. My delivery went very well because my medical team kept me informed and I think that was very important. I did get an epidural and I think that was the worst part because I was so nervous. Thankfully I was able to get through it. I have been healing well and thankful to my partner and my family who has truly been my support team. Blessings to all and your family in this new journey.
Congratulations to you and hubby. My mom had my twin sister and I at 45. We weighed only 3lbs each. Science vs God is what my mom would say to why we all survived. Enjoy your bundle of joy and just soak up all the moments
Thank you so much for this. I spent my 20’s in school and finding my career and currently 39 not married and would love to have another child. I no longer feel unvalued and broken. 2024 is my year. Many blessings to you and your family , Dr. Nina ❤
I have a 16,14 and 10 yr old. Motherhood is a blessing and u and GrowWithJo have both helped me to get back to me, and I’ve officially shedded 83 lbs! Congratulations on ur new bundle of love!❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations 🎉 I had my son at age 43 after 3 miscarriages me and my husband named him "Prince Chance" because God gave us another chance he's now 9 and I'm now 52 ,53 in June and even though we're now divorced Prince is our gift that God blessed us with and love of our lives and we successfully co-parent with love 💝 🙏🏽
Congratulations Soror! I'm so happy for you. We have similar stories. I received my doctorate 36, married at 40 and now expecting our first child at 41. 🎉❤
Lord the way I hollered and cried when I saw this video posted!! 😭❤️ I am so happy for you and your beautiful little family. Great job Mama! 🙌🏾 I'm a NICU Nurse and I was ELATED when you said little Hunter stayed out of the NICU. You Did That Gurl! I'm 36, unmarried, no children, single, just living life and you are SUCH a breath of fresh air. I Love what you you said about how you took care of yourself prior to even being pregnant, and I truly believe that is sooooo important and played a huge role in your experience and recovery. Congratulations again and I can't wait to see more videos of Little Hunter and watching you become the best Mommy ever! 🤗❤️
Congratulations Dr Nina and Sean! I don't have a birthing story yet but I'm currently 44 and pregnant with my first! I'm a little scared of the birthing process but I can't wait to hold my baby in my arms.
Congratulations !!! This is a beautiful time. I’m a mother of 3 girls. 21,17 and a surprise pregnancy at 43. It’s a blessing running around with my now 6 yr old. I’ll be 50 in a few months. I’m loving every minute of motherhood at this stage of my life. Peace and blessings 🙂💕
Congratulations!! I love your story and am so inspired by it as I'm a 38 year old single woman who aspires to be married and a mother. It gives me hope!! Thank you, queen!!
Congratulations ❤ I was 37 when my son was born via c section. Now he's 13 years old....how I missed those days when he was my little peanut. Now he's taller than me with a deep voice 🙂😪❤
Congratulations!!! You and I have the same story! I didnt get married to my husband until I was 37. I suffered with PCOS So my mindset was that I was destined to be a gr8 auntee and after 10yrs of trying during the COVID lock down I got pregnant 😅. I took 7 pregnancy test because i couldn't believe it! My 1st and only child at 40...it was 2/2/21. The original date was 2/16/2021. On my last prenatal visit i had preclamsia so my dr. Sent me straight to the hospital. I was gonna be 41 in August of the year of my baby's birth. I opted 4 the epidural and it was a breeze. I wouldnt change the experience. I just wish someone had told me about postpartum depression and how serious it is😢. But i have a healthy vibrant baby. Despite it all my hubby has stood strong with me and for me. Now i will never lie and say its been easy because it's definitely not but with prayers, love and laughter its all worth it! My child will be 3 in February and has speech delay but everything else is fine. We have her in speech therapy and its working! So now its a matter of getting her saying more but patience is a virtue that i pray hard 4. 😂
I had my first in my mid 30's and I'm here at 40 pregnant with my second (8 weeks to go!). This second pregnancy is way tougher for me 😩 Nausea, sleepiness, appetite curves, body soreness, headaches, man! Anyway, I'm team epidural too! I had such a great experience with my first that I plan to do the same. My first child came 5 days early. I thought I was having Braxton Hicks, but when I walked in I was already 6 cms dilated (yes, more than halfway!). When I reached 10, my doctor literally had to run in because my baby was coming out! Pushed her out in 10 minutes. Now this one I think will be early too, but I'm nervous because she keeps spinning. One week she's head down, the next, she's breeched, then head down again 😔 She's having a good time in there... Hopefully by Valentine's Day, everything will be set
Omg! When you cried about meeting your baby, I felt that! The feeling of seeing your baby for the first time. I had the pleasure of experiencing this three times! Welcome to motherhood!
I am so happy for you, what a blessing. I had my daughter Coree London at 39 . I was a high risk pregnancy because of my age and I had my daughter 3 years after my heart surgery. Everything is in God timing .
The part where you can't believe you had a baby! I think now my son is 2 I just finally in the groove of this is my baby! How amazing and mystical are we to bring an entire life into the world. For weeks I looked at my Son like omg, are you really here? You came from me? Congratulations Dr. Nina
I don't know if that feeling ever goes away lol. My twins just turned 6 and I STILL can't believe that I had these babies. I just stare at them like you really came from me. I really made 2 whole humans.
I was 37 when I had my son. I had to have a c-section at 41 weeks cuz he was chilling. I also had a fibroid that had him stuck in there. Induction didn’t even work so I had no choice. I had a good experience overall. My milk never came in either which was confusing to me. I tried and tried to breast feed. Nothing. So we had to go the formula route. I have no regrets. My husband was my biggest advocate and I’m so grateful for him. He’s a great dad.
I haven't been on your channel in a while and I stumble only to come back to find you are a mother. I had to stop what I was doing at work to make sure that I give you a huge CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so happy for you and your husband. Continue to stay happy, continue to been in peace and stay safe.
Congratulations ✨🥰 I just gave birth to my son on 12/20. A successful VBAC after 14 months. My daughter loves her little brother. I’m beyond grateful ❤
Congratulations Dr. Nina and husband! I’m glad things went smoothly. I’ve followed you over the years, and for you to stand on the decisions that you have made and not just rush into a relationship because you were getting older is admirable. You always stated that you were a late bloomer and you have bloomed well. You’re a year older than me and I haven’t met my person yet and have no kids, but following your story has encouraged me to believe that things do work out for the best if you have faith. May all three of you continue to be blessed!
Long-time follower and was elated when you announced your pregnancy bc I just had my baby at 36! The medical team and support make all the difference. Congratulations Mama!
Congratulations Dr Nina my daughter is 35 my only child. Due to excessive morning sickness, God said one child was ot for me. I was induced that pregnancy was a nightmare. I spent the entire pregnancy hospitalized for what they now call Hyoeremesis. My daughter is my only blessing.. I was vonitung while pushing her out. I knew I was never doing this again.
Hi Nina, I just want to say that I am so happy for you, you give me so much hope that one day I may get pregnant soon enough. I am 42 and have unexplained infertility, I always wanted to be a mother however I've gone back and forth of being an older mother but in recent weeks especially since learning about your journey I realize I really want to be a mom. Again I am so happy for you and prayerful for my own journey.
OB nurse here, I also followed midwives for a bit. Thank you for sharing this. Your main takeaway was education, we just had a mom that lost her baby because her previous babies were via section and someone told her that her body could do it. And some moms can vbac. Unfortunately she went post dates to where even her midwife risked her out, meaning she should've went to the hospital. She refused saying she would go unassisted. Long story short, she delivered a dead baby at home. Ladies there is no shame in medical intervention, moms and babies used to die back in the day at greater rates. Do your homework and choose your Healthcare team wisely and be involved. Evidence based birth is a great resource. ...congratulations to you and yours Dr. Nina
Congratulations on your new baby.. I’m so happy for your new family. God is good. Looking forward to your next post. Your absolutely correct in there is no comparison or description for labor pains lol. I gave birth to two beautiful baby girls with no pain meds. Thank God for his grace as I did not labor long Enjoy every stage of the process as it goes by very fast. God Bless.
This video and the comment section fills me with joy. I'm expecting my baby girl in 5 months. My first at age 37 after a loss last year, and I'm still in disbelief. I'm loving the validating comments that were not on anyone's time line but God's. ❤
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 I'm very thankful for you and other moms sharing their stories. As a new 30 something PhD that's feeling the "how in the world do I now build a career and family" time crunch, this is inspiring!
For some reason, I was thinking about you last week, and thinking you're probably a mommy by now, so I was so delighted to see your thumbnail pop-up. Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful daughter, and how blessed she is to have you and your husband as her parents, giving her such a love-filled start to life. A loving family is everything, all the best to you and your husband.
Congratulations Dr. Nina on your bundle of joy! 💙 You'll be an awesome and outstanding mother! Seeing you become a mom at 40 gives me so much joy and hope that I'll experience the same thing once I marry my future husband. Congrats again! 💙
Dr Nina, CONGRATULATIONS! I am the mother of four and two pregnancies, my water broke on its own and the other two had to be broken in the hospital. Totally painless and the gushing feeling and warmth were the same. First baby was born when I was 20 and our last baby was born one moth shy of my fortieth birthday. Age ain't no thang!
Congratulations on your bundle of joy…I’ve struggled with weight also I even got diagnosed with diabetes…i struggled with it for years but I seriously decided to get my health together 90 days ago my A1C was 10.8 I went to the doctor this week my A1C is 5.2 my doctor even had me to do my bloodwork over and it was actually 5.2 so I’m officially diabetic free ❤
I haven't had another baby in almost 17 years. And I'm almost 40 in 3 years God bless us cause black don't crack.❤️ Welcome to mommy hood. There is no better feeling.❤🥳🥰😍🤩💯💪
I love everything about your approach to life, marriage, pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. You really carry yourself as an exemplary woman. Thank you for sharing!
Congratulations! I am 31 and stressin about finding a partner and having kids so "late" but you have given me so much hope and so much to look forward to!
I was a homeowner, single living my life and I eventually met my husband at 32. Got married briefly after that pregnant had my son at 33. I am an only child and my son is also an only child. My husband and I both have our master's degree and we love to travel.. I also had a pre-planned C-section due to a breach presentation.. So everything was also planned out in that fashion, wouldn't change it for the world😊. At the best doctors here in Houston Texas and the medical center.. I promise you I had the best anesthesiologist also😅.. well anyway 13 years later and your story still brings back memories for myself. What a wonderful birth story.
Congratulations 🎉❤Girl Got married 1 week before i turned 37, got pregnant 7 months later. Gave birth at 38!! Whoop! God is so good. And Happy New Year.
Congratulations Dr. Nina! Welcome to the world, Hunter! I cried when she started talking about how supportive her team was right before her c-section. Especially the anesthesiologist sharing his story. That/ they were so supportive throughout it all. People don't understand how important that is especially giving birth in the black community. So So special! 🎉❤
I love this for you!! I’m 36, focused on my career, and looking forward to having the resources needed and a support system when my time comes to become a parent
Honestly this made me cry alittle for more reasons than one. God really carried you all through. Thank you for sharing and I'm sooooo proud of you mama!!! Proud of daddy too!!🎉😊
Same thing happened to me, induced. Heartrate dropped. C section but mine was scary they wheeled me away it happened so fast rhey had to put me out. Had a healthy baby boy but i was in my early 20's and didnt have many resources. Didnt know what postpartum depression was and suffered through it. With my second I had a scheduled c section it was amazing and no postpartum. Healthy baby girl
Congratulations 🎉 on your bundle of Joy. Motherhood looks great on you ❤ After 2.5 years of trying my husband and I are finally expecting our 1st child as well 😊
Dr. Nina, I feel like a proud little sister..I'm now 37 but I've been watching for over 15 years. So happy for your healthy pregnancy and safe delivery. Excited to see your family grow while l trust and believe God for a husband/partner as awesome as yours. Welcome to the world baby Hunter 🎉
Contractions teach you what you're made of, lol, as a mom of five I know they ain't no joke!! 😂But you did it, girl, I'm so HAPPY FOR YOU AND YOUR HUBBY! CONGRATULATIONS!!! 🎉🎉❤️
The first 3 min disclaimer was everything! Congratulations, Dr. Nina. I know you and your husband are in love right now! Your baby girl is gorgeous! Im so glad you are feeling better as well.❤❤❤
Congratulations!!!! I had my last baby at 37, 18 months ago. This was a different experience from my older 2 that I had at 19 & 20. I just thank God for me using my voice and advocating for myself. Also the on call Dr who didn’t let them send me home.
Congratulations!!! My mom had me at 40. Same for my husband and his mom. I’m 43 and she’s a very vibrant 83. Age is definitely a #. Many blessings all! ✨
Congratulations to you, your husband, and Baby Hunter! May God continue to bless your family! This was so so beautiful to start the new year! Im 38 and we’re currently working on baby number one. Both hubby and I have put in the work to grow spiritually, emotionally, and in our careers. It’s a good time. The time feels right! Thanks for sharing your story with us! 💕✨
Congratulations 🎉. I had my daughter at 41, I have a c section, unfortunately, my marriage didn't work but still believe and desire true love because of Jesus 💕
Im not gonna lie i had a really hard year in 2023 and i cried alot and i cried alot for this year as well cause pain sometimes rolls over ,but when i tell you this is the first set of "tears of joy" i cried .I never felt so genuinely happy for someone i never met .I am so happy to see you experience such a beautiful journey.
This was so refreshing, im childless but everything you said is the ideal situation and things I strive toward. Community and resources seem so important during things like this. So happy for you guys
OMG!! I’m sitting here watching your video tearing up as I listen to every single word !!! SIS, when u spoke abt being adopted and the connection u immediately felt experiencing your first a blood relative, I STARTED BAWLING 😭. My 17 yr old son was also adopted at birth and I’ve noticed his lack of emotional maturity towards babies and small children which may be a factor that comes with feelings of rejection that a lot of adoptees feels. The emotions u showed while describing your baby’s delivery was such a positive thing that I’m praying happens in my son’s future once he reaches that point in his life ! I have faith that God will heal my son’s emotional wounds (Re: rejection). So, TFS ur beautiful birthing story. I cannot wait to see baby Hunter’s growth and of course your new role as a mother ! Take care! ❤ 🤗
Be careful with the diffuser if you use essential oils near the baby or directly in her nursery. The aromas can be overwhelming to her tiny airways. Congrats on your growing family
Happy New Year's 🎉 Dr. Nina, I'm so happy for you and hubby. I'm 40 my baby is 1 years and I'm so proud of her. ❤. Picked up my phone and screamed so loud when I saw this, I couldn't believe this day has finally come. She is so adorable 🥰 congratulations 🎊🎀
Congratulations 🎊🎉🎈Welcome to the world Hunter ❤️ I gave birth on dec 13th via my scheduled c-section and it was also a surprise baby. We gave birth to a baby boy named Miles.

Congratulations! Hunter is a beautiful name. So glad all went well! I have a similar story, had my boy at 43, c-section and all. He is 14 now!💕
Wow! That’s a blessing ❤
OMG I’m screaming. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR LITTLE ONE. I’m so happy for you. Can’t wait to see you blossom as a mother. God bless you and your family.
Congratulations!!!! Please keep me in prayer I am preparing for a Vbac my due date is today ❤❤

Amen! ❤❤❤
Congratulations to you and your family ❤
God Bless.
This comment should have a trigger warning.
This was a very traumatic comment. The congratulations was enough ❤️❤️❤️ please consider adding a trigger warning or removing some of the details
This video and the comment section fills me with joy. I'm expecting my baby girl in 5 months. My first at age 37 after a loss last year, and I'm still in disbelief. I'm loving the validating comments that were not on anyone's time line but God's. ❤
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉
I'm very thankful for you and other moms sharing their stories.
I just did that today....ummm did Dr. Nina gave her baby yet?🤔🤭🥰
Congratulations Dr. Nina on your bundle of joy! 💙 You'll be an awesome and outstanding mother! Seeing you become a mom at 40 gives me so much joy and hope that I'll experience the same thing once I marry my future husband. Congrats again! 💙

You have Today.
Anything u want to do is still possible baby girl. I’m learning that day by day too!😘
I say the same thing. I wish I would have made a few different turns. But God….. I’m grateful
She absolutely did life right FOR HER😊
Beautifulllllll! Congrats to the both of you. ☺️ As a Student Midwife, I am happy to hear that you two were an integral part of your care.

I appreciate you for posting this. 💕 You’ve shown me what is possible. I’m 39 but I plan to have a husband and family in God’s time. I can’t wait. 😊🙌🏾
I knew you were having a girl!! You carried that baby all over your body just like I did. Congratulations Mr. And Mrs. Harness!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations 🎉❤Girl
Got married 1 week before i turned 37, got pregnant 7 months later.
Proud of daddy too!!🎉😊
You have your very own beautiful brown babydoll, she's gorgeous! Blessings Dr. Nina & Mr. Sean on your bundle of joy.

Congratulations!
Much ❤️, respect, & prayers ✨
Im so excited for you ❤
Take care! ❤ 🤗
Congratulations Dr Nina! Im so happy for you!!!

Congrats to you, your husband and your family 🎉
Be careful with the diffuser if you use essential oils near the baby or directly in her nursery. The aromas can be overwhelming to her tiny airways. Congrats on your growing family
So happy for you and your family, you’re glowing ✨
Congratulations Beautiful! We're so happy for you and your beautiful new addition!❤
