Painting quality? Really? its not terrible, certainly table top ready but a lot of the stuff on this channel is obviously a quick air brush job. passable but not really incredible.
@@21526 if you have so much time in your life to paint over 2k points of almost every army in competition quality (…which must be a quite boring life tbh), then send them to the other people with those passable paintjobs ^^
Yeah it was a cool game, I like when you can do different styles and not all games are the same. They need some balancing but that is mainly a points thing isn´t it.
First time commenter from Devon UK, I used to watch Mini wargaming and although they are a great bunch of people and a lot of fun, their videos are to long and too talky for my tastes. I love how you guys catch a full battle report in less than an hour. You are also really good players and the tactics talk between the turns is very insightful. Congratulations on putting out such a great video. I have one question and I'm afraid it's probably one you end up answering probably twice a week, but where did you get your incredible gaming table? I've surfed the net and nothing else comes close to yours.

Kurnoth with bows just always feel like such a waste, but this game my goodness did they soak up a ton of damage from the guns. I would still so much rather have hunters with swords or scythes. A 460 pt range unit did a total of 11 damage. Good battle report as always!
Didn't make a difference to the outcome but I think KO should have picked up an extra victory point when Durthu was killed off by the Frigate impact hits (both were idols)
Round 5 Kharadron, how did he get the full 5 points? He wasn't on any objectives. Sorry. Still learning. Appreciate any help. I know he got the battle tactic but I didn't see any models in the other two objectives.

Not sure of sylv turn 1 can only see 1 tree on board (deployment) so not sure how walked hidden paths (dycha and spite revs) nor strike and fade (spite riders)
He teleported to overgrown terrain. At the start of deployment sylvaneth armies choose 3 pieces of terrain to use as overgrown. These terrain pieces essentially function as wyldwoods.
Did he leave the 3 units in the boat for his turn 5 BT? Has to embark with 3 units and keep them embarked at end of turn to score the BT, wouldn't have changed anything this game, but in other games that could make a big difference.
Small thing, Mike failed his tactic round 5 by getting out of the boat, but he could have chosen not to. Just a heads up for a tournament where you might not be able to take it back

If I remember correctly Jordan built it himself. You might be able to find some info on it in some of their very early videos 🙂

Awesome Battle Report. I find the KO Paint sheme pretty boring and Looks Like it needed to be painted fast. The Base Looks so good thought.

Objectives are 'sticky' in AoS. You stay in control of an objective until your opponent gains control of it.

It wasnt impactful but you could be 1 drop less Jordan! Gally vet battalion can be played with 2 units. Anyway very interesting list!:)
Got to say this was one wierd game! I like more fighting but interesting to see something new. Allthough would be frustrated at those cowardly dwarfs
