I can't believe that some vehicles like the Honda CBR 1000R, the Pontiac Solstice, Triumph Daytona and the Lamborghini Diablo are cut from the PC Test Drive Unlimited and idk why it probably got never appeared at all.
Lotec c1000 was also a car they may have considered adding. In one of the police audio files, you can hear the dispatch lady saying they're looking for a Lotec
Thats also how I learned about Mazda being cur from the game. I cant remember if there were other brands that she would mention, it's been too long since last time I checked
Great video. Though there were actually a couple of cars you missed. In the game files of the PC version, you can find the audio files for the police chases. In addition to cop dialogue that was never used in the final version, you can hear a couple of manufacturers (both car and bike) mentioned during the "dispatch-11" segement that didn't appear in the game. man those cut cars hurt, especially the mazdas. i know the platinum mod technically "restores" them but i wish they could be somehow recovered from the pre-release build with their original models that fit alongside the other vanilla cars instead of being over-detailed rips from other games with weird shading it looks like the person who originally posted about the pre-release stuff on the turboduck forums deleted everything. there apparently used to be videos of the cut cars and cut "showcase mode" that were linked on TCRF's page for the game, but those are gone too. i hope someone out there still has the build or at least saved those videos...
I have footage of the 350Z roadster on my channel. Real shame that these never made it to PC. On the PS2 version there's a poster for a Diablo Roadster in the Lamborghini dealership i wonder if at one point it was supposed to be in the game...
i thought i was going insane, like i genuinely saw the a4 touring car as a kid and it along with a lot of cars straight up vanished during an update... i also swear the a4 and mc12 were both in group R instead of group A
WOW. i had NO IDEA ABOUT THESE CARS. why are they not included in platinum. i've spent countless hours in this game with the mega carpack too but this is insane. i want these cars. the 350 roadster diablo solstice cadillac sixteen. i need those

In the licensing credits, there are references to a Lamborghini LM002 and an Infiniti G35 Coupe.
Yeah which is why it's question remained and the uncertainty of those other two cut cars...
