What if the rules on Season 7 hadn't been changed to save Miss Fame and Pearl?

- While making this I realised just how many group challenges there were on season 7 - just think, only the first challenge, Snatch Game and the Ball challenge had queens working solo (and also, originally, Violet won 2/3 and Ginger and Kennedy shared the win on Snatch Game, which is just another indicator that the three of them should have been the top 3).

YUH, I know Violet's original SG character was Donatella. We also know that in the walk-through was when she decided to change it to Alyssa, AND SURPRISE SURPRISE, they always do the walk-through, so Ru could have/would have easily told her that it wasn't good and that she should do something else. It's that simple!!
Even if she had done Donatella, we've seen from her audition tape that it was sillier than Fame's and that she wouldn't have played her as a serious person, but rather mock her. Even if Violet was put into the low tier with JDF and Max, in what human world would she have been put into the bottom 2, once we compare her look to the other two?
For future, just because some things aren't told, or I didn't go over them, doesn't mean that I don't know them, but rather, consider them obvious information that I needn't say.
I just want justice for Kasha honestly, she did so well and was eliminated for basically nothing

for a season made for “pretty young girls” there are a lot of acting challenges hmmmmmm🧐
yeah and almost all of those pretty young girls performed terribly in the acting challenges, just look at shakesqueer or the john waters challenge. that's why season 7 has the reputation for being boring, it was a season full of fashion savvy queens with performances that are almost all acting and performance based, and with only one sewing challenge at the very end. they didn't really get to show their actual expertise.
@@neckpeck2738 I quite enjoyed season 7. IMO, the most meh season are 1,2 (to an extent),10 and 12 (mostly due to the constant boring lip synchs there were only like 5 max that were enjoyable).
@@duckduckgooseberry7051 I actually watched s1 and s2 yesterday, i think they were really good, i got to see how amazing Jessica Wild is and the most stupid decision on a makeover Challenge of making Rebecca Glasscock the winner of that challenge. S10 had boring lipsyncs but I think you should watch s12 again cause i believe it was one of the best seasons in terms of cast. And The worst season wasnt S7, All stars 1 is still holding the beer to this day

I think Violet could do amazing on all stars. As2 was such a strong cast so maybe no win but if she was on as3 she could easily make it to the top 4 and if the people vote her she could of won and imagine her s8 finale look being her final runway

Tbh I’m so happy that Fame and Pearl weren’t originally out so early. Maybe it is unfair but they are just so iconic. We can see that in their work after drag race.
I’m disappointed we didn’t get to see more of Tempest. She seemed experienced, professional and creative. And she had a cool back story (lost 200+ pounds and adopted two little girls)
Tempest is one of the best queens to leave early. She is so underrated. Just cause a queen is "old" (I prefer seasoned) most people overlook her.
when i rewatched season 7 i couldn’t believe tempest had gone home first, she was really memorable for me. i’d love to see her on an all stars season.

Fame & Pearl should have been eliminated during their lipsync. It was disappointing, but it wasn't shocking to see them both do poorly.
I also would have put Pearl in the bottom instead of Kennedy for the Hello Kitty ball. Her snuggie was lazy, and Kennedy had 1 good look in my opinion.
Anywho, Pearl had some mad favoritism on S7, but that's nothing new for anybody.
Oh yeah, I thought that Pearl's performance in the Hello Kitty ball was highly underwhelming - from her Hello Kitty's friend character being basically Madonna to just wrapping a blanket around her in the second look. But I guess the judges responded well enough to the latter, or were told to do so, in order not to have her lose against Katya or Kennedy.

At least Pearl's hello kitty look was seamed nicely and it looked like a dress. Kennedy and Katya literally just hot glued trinkets and items onto a jumpsuit.. let's not get delusional

@@tbhant9604 It's still uncreative and bland, though I agree it wasn't as bad as Katya's and Kennedy's looks. That being said, Katya's Hello Kitty character, the only memorable one of the group, should've saved her.

I loved JDF Violet and Max doing "Get ready to clock" they were my favourite three tbh. I liked Max immediately because she brought something refreshing. She was polite and helpful, plus really supportive and kind which they didn't really show that much. I really liked Violets runways and professionalism for someone so young...

katya is definately one of my fave queens of all time but Im not really sure she would have made a particularly good winner for drag race. I agreed with the end results of the show, I just didnt agree with how they got there.

if i'm gonna be honest, there were the high fashion young queens and the funny old school queens. Its hard to compare the queens in this season because of how differently each of the girls excelled. I was also very disappointing by the lack of interesting and different challenges this season. I think all of them deserved better.

the fact that we got the ‘there’s always time for a cocktail’ being the last competitive episode elimination would’ve made it that more iconic. robbed of that.
I think for Snatch Game, they would have given the win to Kennedy and Kasha together, since they loved how it showed a different side of Kennedy, as well as originality, and Kasha would probably win with her.

Sorry if you touch on this, but this also plays into racism sizeism and everything else etc etc. Certain queens made it farther than others because of the way they look and their proximity to beauty standards in the gay community. Pearl literally placed higher than Kennedy because she was a skinny stereotypically attractive white man.

Of course katya not having time to memorize her words did kinda screw them over I did enjoy their performance much more. Maybe if the wigs were changed around a bit? Miss fame could’ve tried much harder and they could’ve won. I really want a full version of the oxygen mask song asf and the songs are catchy

They felt much more, how do I say this, adult? Grown up? It didn’t have that same like funny childish flare trixie’s team did and it felt a bit dated. Though with season 7 being quite a bit ago it wasn’t too bad for the time, I’m assuming. They couldn’t dance as well but it was fine because that “don’t kiss the pilot” sequence was TOP TIER! They also forgot a handful of lines and no one ever seems to talk about that??? I think they did deserve to win but I was a bit unsatisfied with it
