It's remarkable. Now, I don't claim to be a ground floor guy, though I did attempt to get that early membership with E3 Offroad (not sure how to know if i got membership or not), but I CAN say I've seen every video regarding the Stepchild. Binge-watching at times, even. It's remarkable that as of these last couple of videos it marks the point (as far as I've been keeping track) that you've officially started to replace/upgrade parts you've replaced/upgraded in the past. You now have new-new wheels and the new-new Dynatrac protection, and that's really awesome.

What an amazing build! And a fun video to watch. I'm always thinking they end too soon. Thanks for letting us all live the things we can't/wish we could do through you. Some years ago I saw a concept vehicle for the military based on a 4door Wrangler. This build should get their attention again, though I'm sure they would put in a diesel/multi-fuel engine. Imagine StepChild with a couple of M2 .50 cals and 40mm grenade launchers! Clear the trails!

The axles have arrived! You guys are BACK. I can hardly wait to see you guys back on the trail. I’m so excited!! 😍 Those front locking hubs will save you a little MPG while driving in 2wd on the road too since you won’t be spinning the front axle shafts and drive shaft with the wheels while you’re driving, less rolling resistance means better MPG.

"Made in the USA" *sports TOKYO t-shirt* =) Hey Brit, you can't pick one trail to categorize Kev's wheeling. Kev is one of the smoothest wheelers I've seen. He usually finesses his way through obstacles and prevents a lot of damage. But.....he has beast mode now. So.... I may eat those words.

Keeping it narrow is a good idea on tight east coast trails. I've had my PR 44/60 hybrid for 5-6 years now. Happy that I haven't broken any shafts or anything in the pumpkin but the bracketry seems a little weak. They really should have used 1/4". The XJ is getting 39.5" TSL's, so hopefully it can handle them with a 4.0 and Atlas.

If I am honest, I was hoping you guys would give away the prorock 44. My dana 30 is doing great, but a dynatrac axle can obviously take a lot of abuse! There really is no cheap upgrade for an XJ dana 30. The TJ low pinion 44 is just a dana 30 with an 8.5" ring gear and still costs an arm and a leg. An aftermarket one is the only way to go but I don't have the $4k for one.

I think it's worth it though, for what y'all do . . . the proof of endurance and reliability is what makes your channel interesting. Glad you're having Dynatrack look at the old axle/s. Will you do a video on the Dynatrack axle analysis?

Then spend 50+ thousand on engine and upgrades along the way 😅

The Jeep looks amazing. Love your videos.
Eventually think about getting some 6.4 hemi badges from Dodge to go above the Jeep logo. A subtle nod to what lies beneath. Since it's a Mopar badge, it's made for your Jeep.

I was thinking about your rear end all last week. I am stoked it got way bigger. And those tires are freaking sick looking. I do think the rim's needs some paint that will match your wrap. Happy Birthday week Kevin. 🤙

In 1976 I bought a new special order Kenworth W900A loaded to the hilt for $88,000. Amazing you will soon own a Jeep that will surpass that. Guess I am old and as outdated as the the W900A because a similar tractor now days would set you back around $150,000. As long as you can afford to live the dream, that's what life is about. I am as happy for you both as the day I bought the W900A. "ROCK ON"

Britney, let other people talk or finish their sentences at minimum. not just a social rule but also annoying for us trying to follow a conversation. You are good at talking, but let others do their thing as well.

@@trjnsd6874 There are plenty of "sites" to watch woman, I watch them because I own a JL and I like their content. I am sure it's just her personality of being super enthusiastic and does not realize she is not letting anyone finish one sentence.
