I've been to Grand Indonesia mall at Jakarta before the Pandemic. It is a very large and spacious mall. However, Tunjungan Plaza 1-6 in the city of Surabaya is still much bigger and wider than the Grand Indonesia mall in Jakarta. Tunjungan Plaza is the second largest mall in Indonesia.👍🏻👌🏻👏👏🇮🇩🇮🇩

yup... agree with Natalia, it's expensive because it's a mall.. if you want something cheap, you can come to the area where the product comes from. For example, if you want original products from Yogyakarta, you have to come to Yogyakarta.

The traditional clothes that sarah tried on were at the alun-alun indonesia dept.store inside the grand indonrsia mall. Traditional clothes in indonesia will become more expensive becauce they are generally modified by fashion designers.

Right now our tradition fabric can also be used for fashion (Batik, Sumatra tenoon etc.) you can find the cheaper price at Thamrin City shopping center (next to Grand Indonesia Mall, there so many style there with the cheap cheap ones).

oh cmon daniel, dont tell me u never seen a 41 euros clothes in UK mall?? agreed with natalia, its not that expensive in luxury mall like grand indonesia mall, a places where many indonesian celebrities first choice mall to shopping, beside, the price of any garment product depend on the materials of the garment such as cotton or silk, or is it a handmade product or just a factory made...u cant compare it with a hotel's room price daniel lol coz the clothes is one of primarily humans needs...sometimes even food is more expensive than hotel's room especially if dine in fancy restaurant lol

Tenun and Batik in Grand Indonesia Mall or Sarinah are high quality (premium) and some of them are hand made and designed by famous Indonesian fashion designer, that why the price is expensive. Cheaper Batik with many option and quality easily can be find in Thamrin City ( behinf Grand Indonesia Mall) or Tanah Abang (the biggest textile market in South East Asia)

Every thing in the mall is expensive maybe 3x form local market. In the mall maybe the normal prize same like europa and usa.
And i hope if you go to Indonesia, please support the local market first.

Sir all of that tradition are hand made and all are high quality. As a local they are not expensive because to make them are really take very long time processing.
When you buy batik just visit Yogya or Solo city much more cheper even you can barging.it is price about Rp.150.000 or €10
That not cloth brand make expensive but that make with handmade we call tenun (Weaving) that makes yes expensive, as well as if you buy batik in the hand image will be very expensive😍
