There are theories that the line 'just killed a man' in the beginning means that he killed his 'heterosexual self', but there are no confirmed meanigs of the song as Freddie Mercury liked to keep the lyrics open and to the listeners interpretation. One of the VERY BEST live renditions is Queen’s performance at: MONTREAL in 1981 (The studio recording/music video includes an intro of a capella harmonies that were never replicated live… but otherwise, I ALWAYS prefer Freddie Mercury’s live performances!)
