    Perfect steps for adjusting the blades and lever switch! For some reason the moving blade won't adjust beyond a certain point which has a slight gap between the blades on my corded masters the cordless is set the closest.

    Hello, I took my blades off to sharpen them and clean the clippers. After I put the blades back on, they dont cut anymore. they make a noise and the blades move but theyre not cutting. I tried to pull the tension spring to give it more tension but it didnt work. Can you tell me or show me in a video how to put the top blade back on over the pring to see if im doing it right? Please Help!!!!

    Why is it that the masters never close to the first notch it’s always in the middle.. since that’s a fact do I just go straight to the 3rd notch from the close position or barley open it to the second notch and then proceed to the 3rd

    Hi
    Can you zero gap the Andis MLC straight from the box? I’m having problems with zero gapping the whole blade only half attends to zero gap and the other half doesn’t, I just don’t know why.
    As in the video it’s all straight but my isn’t.
    I’ve been told that I need to change the blade is that true?
    Any help will help.
    Stay safe.

    Just bought these Andis Masters and i cannot get them anywhere near 0. The closest i can get it is like a 16th of an inch from being even with the bottom blade. Do you think this one might be deflective? No issue with 0 gapping my Andis trimmers. Good lookin on the lever tip!

    • @Mike-hy8cs
      @Mike-hy8cs 4 года назад +8

      Honestly its not worth zero gapping them in the first place. If you truly zero gap it it eats at the andis guards. Get it as close as you can without it eating your guards and you are good to go. It takes out the trimmer line no problem as long as you are not setting in your trimmer line harshly. Its a tapered blade anyway so if you want to remove harsh trimmer lines its better to use a fade blade or just use a different clipper. Personally I dont like setting harsh trimmer lines anyway so i never have an issue with this clipper.

      @@Mike-hy8cs I always set harsh lines with my trimmer. How do I stop?

    • @Mike-hy8cs
      @Mike-hy8cs 3 года назад

      @@Peter-hw1yx instead of putting it in like you are lining someone up.. Use it like a clipper and scoop slightly while making the line. Making a super perfect skin guideline is a waste of time. Why? Because you are going to fade that line out anyway. As long as both sides look similar you will have an even fade when its finished.

      @@Peter-hw1yx you can a lot of people do it like that. Personally since i need to be efficient with my work i use a zero gapped trimmer first . If you use clipper first you will still need to go underneath it with a trimmer
