Good Input :) I also use lobby screen - its a giant Gif with a dripping coffee and background music. So people know: yes get a coffee before starting. Then I use mobile Phone to keep an eye on the atendees and maybe use the chat. Timer is a nice idea also - I sometimes use an animation on a reactangle shape that move off the screen. (each Block is 60 sec. So use different sharpes for e.g. 5 mins.)
