I love 💕 Modest Deux. Reminds me of a mix between La nuit tresor and la nuit tresor a la folie. It’s delicious, sensual and flirty but the patchouli makes it matured. Lasts long but does not have beastmode projection. Only downside. Love it… and I have a review on it as well. Don’t like cherry scents, but this is the exception 😍

I have sprayed la nuit on my right hand and afnan on the left . Agnan dissapears real Quick, while Tresor la nuit stays sharper wich makes it to much but the dry down i love. I love how afnan stays softer and less chemical but i only smell it on clothes better.

Wow, it is even MORE delicious and beautiful. This is an all time favorite for me, I cannot say enough about it how much I adore Modest Deux! This is the best sweet fragrance I have ever smelled in my life. My husband wants to eat me up when I wear it - I want to eat myself when I wear it! It smells like the bottle looks - smooth, rounded edges, jammy, this shade of purple, and so absolutely beautifully delicious! How they made this so incredibly sweet, but not at all cloying is a mystery to me! This one is a masterpiece to my nose, I just love, love love it.💘💘💘

At first, I thought I was smelling red wine but this smells like Black cake, a Caribbean seasonal cake which has fruits soaked in rum. It has dried fruits in it such cherries, apricots, currants, etc. I definitely smell cherries, the warming spices like cloves, patchouli and vanilla helps make it soft. I'll try in the summer. Just got this for fall. But not a bad scent. Maybe I smell chocolate for a bit and I don't smell strawberries or raspberries. I also think this would smell good with a cherry almond lotion. Just my two cents.

Another big love❤! I just got mine (on your recommendation, thank you!). It’s deep, delicious and gentle but present. I live on a tropical island so it’s sunny all year round. And while I sort of like some fresh fragrances, they aren’t always my first choice. I always struggle with cherries in a parfum. But this scent is amazing! It's soft with all notes (everything is well balanced), but at the same time it's deep, strong, warm, gourmant. I have zero complains about this! It's amazing! I'm wearing it in a warm weather, it's +23 now..perfect and enough, because there are no limits for me 🤣👌😏

Thank you for a great review! I had the exact same experience as you with this fragrance. In the winter time when I first purchased it, it was a very patchouli dominant fragrance with chocolate but a little bitter. I immediately categorized it as a winter scent because of this. I don't know why, but decided to wear it a couple of days ago and it was a different experience! Very sweet chocolate covered cherries with complexity. The scent went through stages but it never got too heavy on me - like 2 different fragrances!

Both perform arond the same, I think Eternia Woman is slightly stronger scent wise but dies down faster, while Modest Deux stays on my skin for longer. But on clothes both stay a full day easily ❤🤗

@@galinakovaleva7862 these two fragrances are not similar at all. Khaltat Night is a mix of Lost Cherry and Angels Share. It's a bit tart and boozy. The cinnamon is quite prominent and the Cherry is the star fruit supported by the apple. Modest Deux on the other hand is sweet , intoxicating and really delicious. Very sexy and feminine for sure. While Khaltat Night is also sexy, it is unisex and I can see a man wearing it as well as women. So both fragrances are beautiful in their own way and are not similar. Definitely worth having both and I might even layer them to see if that's a good combination. 😉
Agree ..stunning perfume ..its so inviting & slightly alluring .. And my friend told me that I smelled buetifull , sweet & spicey but not gourment .. The fruit notes stay very notable, with that chocolate just peeking through ... I can already smell the difference as the weather is changing , definitely more smoky and deep .. Great review ... Thank you for watching dear ❤️🌹 I think Modest Deux is easier to enjoy, CDNI for Women is more of a unique fragrance, it has an earthy green rose, the patchouli there is more a grounding and relaxing patchouli, while Modest Deux has a designer DNA, the patchouli here has a chocolaty undertone, the scent is much sweeter. I think if you are looking to add a fragrance with a designer DNA that has a sweet fruity vanillic nuance and a dark chocolate undertone you'll enjoy Modest Deux for Women by Afnan for sure. Let me know your thoughts on it if you decide to try it. 🌠

Did you try mixing it also with Golden Sand from Al Rehab? I love this one but I don't own Choco Musk. Can I ask you what do you think of Oud Satin Mood by MFK? Is it similar to any other arabian perfume you know? And what about Delina? Recently I tried Sheykh al Shuyukh luxe edition in order to compare it to my beloved Oud Mood, and for me they are very similar, except that the first is sweeter, more feminine and lacks the prominent incense note of Oud Mood. I still prefer OM. Can I ask you what's your mothertongue? 😺

Choco Musk smells like instant hot chocolate from nesquik would smell like if you've ever tried it, so it amp up that chocolate tone that is already there in Modest Deux and it makes it sweeter. Perhaps you will find a sample or a decant of this one to test it. To me Oud Satin Mood smells amazing, I enjoy it a lot, even thought it's not a straight forward oud fragrance, the oud is hidden behind benzoin, but it's smell luxurious and sophisticated. I have L'Extase Rose Absolue which is in the same family but is heavier on rose and doesn't have any oud in it (and also doesn't have that slight powdery touch that Oud Satin Mood has), it's an amazing fragrance but unfortunately it's discontinued and hard to come by, but it's totally worth checking it out if you can find it. There is another one that is a dupe of Oud Satin Mood but I haven't smelled it personally, it's called Ministry of Oud - Oud Satin by Paris Corner. As for Delina I've never smelled it. My mother tongue is romanian 🌟

I like it but don't love it, it seems to my nose a more fresh, sparkly and fruity cousin of Intense Café, less woody. I quite like also Oud Satin, it's very classy and refined, so smooth, it's like velvet, but I feel it way too powdery for my taste, and not woody / oudy / unisex enough for me. I like it more in the drydown. I tried also the Imperial Oud from the Al Haramain's Portfolio collection that you also reviewed, and it's stunning, so resinous and strong, only a little bit animalic as untertone, that doesn't annoy me at all. I thought you had italian parents, because of your name Loredana 😅 here in Italy it's a common name

Out of my mind I don't think I've tried a cherry forward scent that goes in that direction, I've tried cherry/bitter cherry compot like fragrance, cherry + leather, cherry + chocolate, cherry + spices and vanilla, but nothing comes to my mind when I think of cherry candles or chewy candy unfortunately. 💫 If you find anything in this scent family let me know cause it's pretty unique. I want to get more of the dark chocolate. Anyone have any recs for a dark chocolate scent? Not milk chocolate, but a dark chocolate. I have Chocolate Greedy but it’s sweeter and not a dark chocolate. I get mostly the berries and the patchouli plus some spices. Would love to get more of the dark chocolate. I have Choco Musk, but it’s too sweet. I prefer a more of a bitter chocolate. It's very elegant and mysterious. ✨️

From Mancera I love as well Instant Crush and Roses Vanille, look up the notes and see if it they appeal to you, Roses Vanille it's a bright dense sweet sugary vanilla mixed with rose. I'm also testing now Crazy for Oud and it's been growing on me, it's a very interesting combo, oud that's a bit pungent/ boozy in the opening mixed with leather, tiramisu, patchouli and some cold flower touches, surprisingly it's very wearable and easy to enjoy and it doesn't have that medicinal oud note. 💫

Do you have the oil version or the edp version of the scent? Choco Musk is supposed to be an inspired by fragrance of Chocolate Greedy by Montale (I haven't tried this one), perhaps look up a decant of this one as Montale fragrances always have amazing performance. 💫 Your scent of the day sounds like a dream combo, I have to try this layering combo myself ❤️🌹

I've blind purchased this based on yours and other reviews. I'm scared, but I normally enjoy gourmand scents and patchouli. Edit: I have received this, it's so much more palatable than La Nuit Tresor. It's almost like Lancome LNT and YSL Black Opium had a love child. I've never purchased the Lancome because it was too much, but I'm also happy to not replace my Black Opium now I have this.
What am I doing wrong? I just got this in the mail and it smells like any other generic perfume smell. I don’t smell chocolate, vanilla or cherry, at all. I’m absolutely disappointed. I keep listening to these RUclips reviewers, buying the fragrances and being let down. 😫
Take your time with the fragrance and test it, some are instant loves while some grow on you with time. I bought that one during the winter & fell in love with it in warm weather. Thank you for watching 🌹

If you like sweet fruity patchouli fragrances with cherry and dark chocolate it's worth checking it out but if you don't like sweet fragrance I think you'll find it very feminine leaning 🌠

In the winter time when I first purchased it, it was a very patchouli dominant fragrance with chocolate but a little bitter. I immediately categorized it as a winter scent because of this. I don't know why, but decided to wear it a couple of days ago and it was a different experience! Very sweet chocolate covered cherries with complexity. The scent went through stages but it never got too heavy on me - like 2 different fragrances!
Yes, I was shocked to see how the same fragrance can smell so so different in different seasons, I was not expecting that but it surprised me in the best way 😂❤️ Thank you for sharing your experience here and I'm happy to hear you're enjoying it more in the summer and you get these beautiful nuances as well 🤗

Both perform arond the same, I think Eternia Woman is slightly stronger scent wise but dies down faster, while Modest Deux stays on my skin for longer. But on clothes both stay a full day easily ❤🤗

@@galinakovaleva7862 these two fragrances are not similar at all. Khaltat Night is a mix of Lost Cherry and Angels Share. It's a bit tart and boozy. The cinnamon is quite prominent and the Cherry is the star fruit supported by the apple. Modest Deux on the other hand is sweet , intoxicating and really delicious. Very sexy and feminine for sure. While Khaltat Night is also sexy, it is unisex and I can see a man wearing it as well as women. So both fragrances are beautiful in their own way and are not similar. Definitely worth having both and I might even layer them to see if that's a good combination. 😉

Thank you for watching dear ❤️🌹 I think Modest Deux is easier to enjoy, CDNI for Women is more of a unique fragrance, it has an earthy green rose, the patchouli there is more a grounding and relaxing patchouli, while Modest Deux has a designer DNA, the patchouli here has a chocolaty undertone, the scent is much sweeter. I think if you are looking to add a fragrance with a designer DNA that has a sweet fruity vanillic nuance and a dark chocolate undertone you'll enjoy Modest Deux for Women by Afnan for sure. Let me know your thoughts on it if you decide to try it. 🌠

Hi beautiful, this video answers to many doubts I had. I wished this fragrance didn't contain patchouly, otherwise it would have been perfect for me. Did you try mixing it also with Golden Sand from Al Rehab? I love this one but I don't own Choco Musk. Can I ask you what do you think of Oud Satin Mood by MFK? Is it similar to any other arabian perfume you know? And what about Delina? Recently I tried Sheykh al Shuyukh luxe edition in order to compare it to my beloved Oud Mood, and for me they are very similar, except that the first is sweeter, more feminine and lacks the prominent incense note of Oud Mood. I still prefer OM. Can I ask you what's your mothertongue? 😺

Choco Musk smells like instant hot chocolate from nesquik would smell like if you've ever tried it, so it amp up that chocolate tone that is already there in Modest Deux and it makes it sweeter. Perhaps you will find a sample or a decant of this one to test it. To me Oud Satin Mood smells amazing, I enjoy it a lot, even thought it's not a straight forward oud fragrance, the oud is hidden behind benzoin, but it's smell luxurious and sophisticated. I have L'Extase Rose Absolue which is in the same family but is heavier on rose and doesn't have any oud in it (and also doesn't have that slight powdery touch that Oud Satin Mood has), it's an amazing fragrance but unfortunately it's discontinued and hard to come by, but it's totally worth checking it out if you can find it. There is another one that is a dupe of Oud Satin Mood but I haven't smelled it personally, it's called Ministry of Oud - Oud Satin by Paris Corner. As for Delina I've never smelled it. My mother tongue is romanian 🌟

I quite like also Oud Satin, it's very classy and refined, so smooth, it's like velvet, but I feel it way too powdery for my taste, and not woody / oudy / unisex enough for me. I like it more in the drydown. I tried also the Imperial Oud from the Al Haramain's Portfolio collection that you also reviewed, and it's stunning, so resinous and strong, only a little bit animalic as untertone, that doesn't annoy me at all. I thought you had italian parents, because of your name Loredana 😅 here in Italy it's a common name

I get mostly the berries and the patchouli plus some spices. Would love to get more of the dark chocolate. I have Choco Musk, but it’s too sweet. I prefer a more of a bitter chocolate.

It's very elegant and mysterious. ✨️

From Mancera I love as well Instant Crush and Roses Vanille, look up the notes and see if it they appeal to you, Roses Vanille it's a bright dense sweet sugary vanilla mixed with rose. I'm also testing now Crazy for Oud and it's been growing on me, it's a very interesting combo, oud that's a bit pungent/ boozy in the opening mixed with leather, tiramisu, patchouli and some cold flower touches, surprisingly it's very wearable and easy to enjoy and it doesn't have that medicinal oud note. 💫

Do you have the oil version or the edp version of the scent? Choco Musk is supposed to be an inspired by fragrance of Chocolate Greedy by Montale (I haven't tried this one), perhaps look up a decant of this one as Montale fragrances always have amazing performance. 💫 Your scent of the day sounds like a dream combo, I have to try this layering combo myself ❤️🌹

Edit: I have received this, it's so much more palatable than La Nuit Tresor. It's almost like Lancome LNT and YSL Black Opium had a love child. I've never purchased the Lancome because it was too much, but I'm also happy to not replace my Black Opium now I have this.

What am I doing wrong? I just got this in the mail and it smells like any other generic perfume smell. I don’t smell chocolate, vanilla or cherry, at all. I’m absolutely disappointed. I keep listening to these RUclips reviewers, buying the fragrances and being let down. 😫
Take your time with the fragrance and test it, some are instant loves while some grow on you with time. I bought that one during the winter & fell in love with it in warm weather. Thank you for watching 🌹
