#1 I freaking love this truck the color is outstanding , the cabguard , the select add on's are spot on. I think the only thing I myself would have added would be a step on the side of the frame as the driver Will be up and down to grab things out of the cabguard that's just my opinion. Other than that it's awesome. #2 once you explained the pro's of the dummy exhaust I dig it. Great job gentlemen and to the new owner congrats on a sweet truck.
Gorgeous truck. Myself I love the functional pipes but with the def system would hate for them to get destroyed. Could put a smoke machine in the truck and hook into them. Lol!!!
Looooove the color. Very classy and it won't pull in the sun rays. My favorite color has always been white but this is kinda of an off white and I love it, Very Classy looking, this exhaust it's more practical to maintain so I agree. Keep those Kool videos coming Tommy & Brian. Fan from down here in Louisiana. 👍⚜️
That Pete turned out Beautiful, once again you guys have out done yourselves and built one Bad Ass 389. Oh and on the dummy stacks I would DEFINITELY hook them up if it was my truck... 👍😀
Kinda no point in hooking them up just get all that ridiculous Def in and spewing down the stack make it look terrible...why I can't do new trucks only thing you get is "cool" look lol
I love it, very classy. Like to see some Custom Pete 567's or Custom 579's Videos. Since the Pete 389 will be no longer available after Jan 2024. That will be a sad day. :(
I want to see a 389 or traditional Peterbilt with weed burner exhaust and NO STACKS. I bet it will look clean and awesome. Do a mock up drawing and show us.
Yea, I second that comment about Def system.. once the DEF fluid start coming out from the clamps the white stuff just slowly coming out and drying up like crust like if your at a salt like.. Just suck that is when the clamps need to be readjusted or replaced..
That color is pretty awesome! Is that a factory paint color? I think of ice cream when I look at it, so I want to call it "Vanilla Dream", or something like that! Cool job again!
Man I’m totally about the dummy exhaust now. I currently have an active system. I’ve burned myself countless times, yesterday to me exact, again. I’m over it. Next time goin sunny for sure
Awsome truck I hope this is going to be a show truck, because if not he's going to have a problem getting to the work box on the back, I don't recall seeing any steps on the back, hopefully I just wasn't paying attention
I would rather Clean the exhaust than have a dummy kit. Grass burner exhaust can rust in the junk yard. I prefer the look of heat guards. I grew up looking at Peterbilt 379 and 359 trucks with heat shield exhausts. I can't stand the look of straight pipes, and I hate the EPA and their crap too much to like "grass burner" exhaust. Give me a 2002 - 2003 Peterbilt 379 all day long. Shove a 3408 in it, and THAT is a truck.
Ever follow a pre-emission dual stack truck down the road and wonder why you don’t see vapor/smoke coming out? Oh wait you would bc that’s how it’s meant to be 😂
I'm thrilled to see a trucker who has ordered a truck that can actually be out on the road earning money. Great job.

This is a really nice truck. The color is badass, and that headache rack is really cool. I bet more of those will be ordered in the future. Great job
Beautiful truck! I love the choice of color. Can truly understand the benefits of dummy exhaust! Keep doing the awesome work y’all!

I like the view with Brian riding in the sleeper.
I'd also love to see you guys do a custom 389 with 10 inch stacks installed and a custom 567 with functional driver's side stack.
Wow !!!!! Superb work and an extremely clean shop.
GOOD looking 389 - nice job fellas! Love that color too - subdued but classy!
I love it, very classy. Like to see some Custom Pete 567's or Custom 579's Videos. Since the Pete 389 will be no longer available after Jan 2024. That will be a sad day. :(
You guys outdid yourselves on this one
Still would rather have active exhaust but definitely wouldn’t mine the way you guys did your show truck!!!💯❤️👍🇨🇦✌️
That is a classy looking beautiful traditional Pete
Truck is really nice, love the headache rack!
Great looking truck guys you nailed it once again. Keep up the great work 👍👍
Hey Brian, truck looks super sharp.
Now that’s a good looking ride!! Good call guys.
Really love the work you guy's do, the two of you ad that extra touch 👍that color is truly awesome 👌
I want to see a 389 or traditional Peterbilt with weed burner exhaust and NO STACKS. I bet it will look clean and awesome. Do a mock up drawing and show us.
Truck is beautiful, great set up. Nice and clean.
I saw this truck this evening on hwy 111 coming down Cagle Mtn, very good looking truck definitely a head turner
Awesome truck and color!
I'm a fan of the dummy exhaust. Looks just as cool but very low maintenance 👍🏻👍🏻
Nice work I am the owner of the Black Widow that you guys did I love it I'm going to definitely have you guys do the next one

Nice rig!
Very sharp and clean looking truck!!
Tge truck came out Beautiful guys 👏🏻👏🏻.. That color is badass and the dummy exhaust looks great 👍🏼.
Awesome truck and video
Holy crap!!! That's clean!
Yea, I second that comment about Def system.. once the DEF fluid start coming out from the clamps the white stuff just slowly coming out and drying up like crust like if your at a salt like.. Just suck that is when the clamps need to be readjusted or replaced..
Absolutely beautiful
Really cool truck! Really like the color and how you did the headache rack!
Beautiful truck
Great job guys. Looks really good
Nice look ! I like the color cool 😎
That is an awsome build
Love the color
Awesome Truck
That color is pretty awesome! Is that a factory paint color? I think of ice cream when I look at it, so I want to call it "Vanilla Dream", or something like that! Cool job again!
We have a dummy stack on our 567. A Pete is supposed to have dual exhaust. That's how I grew up looking at Pete's and I'm in my 60s.
Oh and definitely for all those people thinking about active exhaust get the dummy exhaust the active exhaust is a pain in the ass
Man I’m totally about the dummy exhaust now. I currently have an active system. I’ve burned myself countless times, yesterday to me exact, again. I’m over it. Next time goin sunny for sure
While they are still being made with exhaust stacks mate, use them!!!Cheers John, Queensland, Australia.
Nice Ride
I want one black cherry nice work 👍
nice looking truck
Love the truck
It's a cool color.
I'm cool with the kit!!😊😊❤❤
Very nice 👌 👍
Beautiful Truck , maybe I missed it but I didn't see a step and grab handle on the driver's side to access the cat walk and Headache rack Toolbox.
would I be out of pocket to ask how much did that all cost ???
A on the knob put a wood grain bottom with a chrome top
Or were you going to do when in 2024 when they quit making the 389 Peterbilt what are you guys going to sell then
I'd love to see you guys do a custom 389 with the roof spoiler on .
All the cabinets and doors on headache rack, and no way to get up there to use them. Step or boxes to get onto deck and use headache?
Love the color, but once again what's with the fuel tanks.....yikes....awesome video guys.....
Only thing I’d have changed is moved the 5th wheel back. That thing is way up there lol beautiful truck
Super nice
Another awesome truck!! Not a huge fan of the seats though.
I've always wondered why no one trims the Hogebuilt rear mount brackets, would look cleaner and get rid of that sharp pointy corner.
Awsome truck I hope this is going to be a show truck, because if not he's going to have a problem getting to the work box on the back, I don't recall seeing any steps on the back, hopefully I just wasn't paying attention
Hey guys!! Make a video showing the hidden FireWire reverse light 😎😎
The only thing I would do is add a little pin striping. Nothing wild, very subtle.
Have yall been playing with the 589's yet?
BADASS
The truck looks GREAT!! I can’t believe you didn’t do the hidden hood latches. Who’s the manufacturer of the headache storage unit? Thanks Kc
Bruner Fabrication
hey fellers is it just my eyes or is that left stack kinda leaning out just a little ?
Very nice.
Nice
Awesome 😎😎😎👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Do you like them mirrors our is the spot mirror better which one is better to see out of
Is it true that Peterbilt is discontinuing the 389 at the end of next year????
Yes
How about doing a 389 without any vertical exhaust?? I'd just like to see it because classic trucks without vertical exhaust is RARE!
No step ladder?? How’s the driver supposed to get to the headache rack?
Finally, a truck without all the ugly and useless warning stickers and the clean air sticker on drivers door.
I would rather Clean the exhaust than have a dummy kit. Grass burner exhaust can rust in the junk yard. I prefer the look of heat guards. could you build something like that with a 10 speed manual
need steps to get on deck plate - nice truck
needed a different color on frame . but looks great
I know this is a stupid question but how is he going to be able to get up on the deck plate with no steps to get up there
So he keeps a small 3 step ladder in the headache rack.
Need steps and an APU.
The thing with the exhaust is I wanna hear it growl when I hit the throttle if I spend money for the active exhaust and it ain’t loud I don’t want it
What would y’all charge to install that headache rack again on my 389 ?
Any issues with grass burner exhaust and the eye panel?
Creamy (Dairy) Dream!
Ever follow a pre-emission dual stack truck down the road and wonder why you don’t see vapor/smoke coming out? Oh wait you would bc that’s how it’s meant to be 😂
What happened to the black truck?
We are still working on it, currently waiting for the other parts that were polished or chrome to come back from the powder coater
Do you guys have any more 389’s available?
Shoot us an email we can probably get ya something. SemiCasualShow@gmail.com
When I grow up, I want to be out, I want to have be someone well, how about your company and buy a truck from you guys?
Do u have a paint code for that color please
I don't like the dummy stack kit. If you are going to have the stacks on it I believe they should be working
