Whyyyy do Americans never spec their boats with teak flooring?! Looks and feels so much cheaper without it, looks so much worse when dirty, you see every speck. Spending $400k+, there's surely a few more grand to lay down some wood. What is wrong with you people?

That's actually a great question that I don't have a definitive answer for. I would think some of it has to do with the upkeep required to keep teak looking good.

@@TheBoatDude Fair point, but there's a dozen brands making artifical teak here in Europe now, looks almost the same, is softer underfoot, and doesn't fade.
Maybe do a video on general pros and cons and which options are available in the US?

@@TheUrbanEpicure it turns out they do offer an interior package with what they are calling "beechwood." I will do some asking around at the show this year to figure out what exactly that means. No idea if it's literally beechwood, just their name for a teak look-a-like product, or what have you. But, I'm curious now!

@@TheBoatDude If it's for the interior, I think it's just one of the woods you can choose from for all the interior walls, cabinets, etc.
I'd be surprised if they didn't offer real and artifical teak as options for the exterior areas as well.
Anyway, do look into it and maybe make a video on it, I'm sure it'd get a fair amount of views, this topic seems to fly under the radar for Americans.

I told a friend that I love that look 👀 and he said that to maintenance it is not fun 😮
