‘Studio music’ combined with ‘concert video’ is called a ‘music video’. Besides the “live” title, the first 4 secs of this video make it appear like it was going to be live, but ultimately wasn’t. Good band though. I enjoyed much of what I heard.
Great breakdowns, solos and ending! Is this a live performance with the audio playing as well as the audio just drops in volume at the end? I love it no matter how it was made and I can see that everyone knows how to play very well so just wondered about that.
This is live video and studio audio. It's a pretty common trend among smaller Japanese bands, not sure why but at a guess it's because it's very hard to record high quality audio in a venue on a tight budget. It's certainly not a reflection on the ability of the band as many great live bands do it these days. Though they could be more clear about it maybe.
