I'm not yet convinced about the whole "flying islands in the sky"-thing, but freshening up game mechanics in survival games is long overdue and this appears to be a worthwile attempt at doing so.

@@Maggophonie Agreed, it gives players a lot less land to actually explore, and the sailing mechanics would need some spicing up to warrant that much empty space.

I like the idea of the combo mechanics being extended to gathering and base building.

On the one hand I don’t think it was a necessary addition, but on the other hand I felt like it made things more satisfying
