man theres so much that is clever about this. the complexity and fullness of the patch for the HP here is really stellar. the filming setup with this shelf which I'm almost positive is an ikea one that I've had is so smart. the ipad as selfie camera, the bike lights. it goes onnn
Haha. Thank you!!!! I’m big into doing a lot with a little or whatever you have. And goodness you can do a lot with a beatstep pro. It can provide a lot of flexibility and non-linear jams. And you’re right the shelf is ikea. It’s basically a storage shelf in my office I carved out for this small synth setup. It’s still there actually. So glad you got a kick out of the bike lights. Those are gold! Super compact too, clipping onto the stock clips for the shelf. I hope that as the case grows etc, I can continue the same level of resourcefulness. Maybe with slightly better workflow mind you.
Thanks so much! Yeah, I’m kind of a sucker for anything I can bob my head to. Making jams at the moment is just so much fun! I was in bands and stuff when I was younger and my goodness, having this type of immediacy to make something and play it is just so wild to me. Hope it continues to be this fun.
@@turbotambourine well I've been making music this way for a couple of decades now and it's still damn good fun, so there's every chance it will remain so for you too man. I also used to play in bands and I will say that jamming solo with synths does lack that magic connection when you're in the zone playing with your band mates. However combining the two, gear and fellow musicians, that is definitely great fun.
@@missingreels For real! I'm definitely looking forward to hanging and playing with others. Once I have a bit more capacity, I'm hoping to loop in with the local community here or if there isn't too much going on, maybe set up some sort of meet up or music / petting zoo haha. I'm in a lower income kinda area and am interested in how having access to music gear like groove boxes could do for peeps. Anyway, classic, big dreams and quite different realities, at least for now.

Really enjoyed that drop halfway through. Great Melodie’s!
Thanks so much! Yeah that was a fun one to stumble on. Who knew learning was so fun eh?
Really fun jam man! You look like you're having a blast making it too.
