One night, an alien working a late shift at the museum of archeology notices the cracked screen suddenly light up, and upon it, one word arises from the battered code: Amogus. They do not know what this word means. They ponder it deeply. They scour the ancient tomes, desperate to understand its mystifying origin. It drives them mad. Is it a primeval cipher? The motto of a bygone civilization? A message from God? Night after night they study it by candlelight. They flip through pages in books so old, the slightest cough would turn the paper to a fine off-white powder. The answer is nowhere to be found. And then they are struck by a revelation: I was not meant to know this word. Its esoteric nature escapes my grasp for a reason. What if its meaning is too enlightening to bear? With this revelation comes anger. Spite. Despair. Why shouldn't I understand it?! What cosmic forces are there at play to keep me from such knowledge?! In a fit of desperate rage, they shatter your device against a wall and exclaim, arms raised to the heavens: "This is literally 1984!" Silence... Their pleas are unanswered. Sadly, in the end, their inability to unlock the word's meaning drives them to suicide. Its secrets are never known. So I ask you this: is it better to die having never understood the true mind-bending nature of Amogus, or to be driven mad by the little spaceman in his blood-red suit? If you knew enlightenment would render you incapable of living on this mortal earth without making daily references to a game of space mafia, would you accept it? With knowledge comes power, but also endless suffering. Choose wisely, and be wary when standing at the edge of that great abyss we call "the Truth," lest you fall too deep.
Impressive and well played. Might be worth considering for TBC with MS and Blood frenzy, although the warlock/hunter meta will be very strong and dps warr spots will be sparse.
Yea, I think it's a good idea to get familiar with the rotation and playstyle going into TBC. I mean, I expect there to be 2-3 warrior spots per 25 man raid, but how the game will cope with 30%+ warriors... well rerolls I guess XD
Hi there. I know this is a little old and you are probably playing TBC. I am still playing ERA. I am hoping you can share the names of your addons. I assume you are using ElveUI. I am after the name of the cooldown buttons sitting below your player frame, and the stance icon to the left of it. I am also after the addon on the far left which I assume are buttons to change your gear sets. Lastly, the name of the scrolling combat text that shows the ability and damage/crit. Thanks! If you had the whole thing in a folder zipped, that would be amazing, but likely got replaced with TBC in your case I think.
mind posting your talen tree and what addon you are using to show the spell + damage on the right side of the screen ? :) Edit : what server are you on ?
classic.wowhead.com/talent-calc/warrior/02305020322-05500104005510051 This is the spec. I drop tactical mastery for 2/2 Imp. Overpower as it's insanely damage efficient and is around a 50dps increase. I will typically always priority Overpower if BT/WW are on CD (and dump 90+ rage) as it's still a dps increase. The damage test? That's MSBT (MikScrollingBattleText) . I play on EU Mirage Raceway.
@@vgullotta No, my action bars are hidden. I know all my abilities and keybinds and instead use the icons you can see for tracking cooldowns. I do this to just keep the UI clean.
@@tatari6627 ahh ok makes sense, I have never played with the slam spec before, one of my guildies mentioned recently he was going to play around with it, so I was curious, thanks =)
No I'm not. The reason for this is that Execute has terrible scaling for damage per rage. And since the 2H weapon generates rage slowly it's quite inefficient (it's slightly less of a problem on Horde due to WF). If you reference: bookdown.org/marrowwar/marrow_compendium/abilities.html#execswitch You can see that 2H suffer badly. As such, keeping the standard rotation is the best consistent dps. You should always try to end your last global of the fight with an execute if possible though. One tactic you can use is actually switch to DW to generate rage quickly. Personally I dump 2/2 Imp.Execute and gain the points elsewhere.
because the damage per rage of slam is higher than HS. so basically your perfectly using every single point of rage on more dmg, you can just do like this dude did 2 slams in a row to dump
It's not just that. Any fight that requires movement makes the rotation impossible. Any fight where there's raid damage opens up the possibility that your slam cast gets pushed back. Additionally DW straight up scales better because it gets 150% AP (162.5 talented) and also benefits from additional hit over yellow hit cap, which becomes unavoidable to have as you get the best gear. I tried to make 2h fury work for months and it really shouldn't be done if you're looking to do the most dps you can.
@@abstractdaddy1384 Maybe, and this is crazy but just hear me out, MAYBE everyone already knows that this slightly worse than dw, but some people still wanna do it because they think its fun swinging a big ol sword around while still doing very solid dps? I know, crazy talk.
