The second Castlevania title released on Nintendo DS after Dawn of Sorrow ( tasvideos.org/... ), this game is a direct sequel to Bloodlines ( tasvideos.org/... ) on Sega Genesis. Dracula rises from the dead yet again (cue groan), and it's up to Jonathan Morris, helped out by Charlotte Aulin, a powerful mage student, to defeat him.
Beating Dracula into a pile of dust in under five minutes ( tasvideos.org/... ) wasn't enough for our heroes, so this time they wreck his entire castle and surrounding areas before killing him. Every boss is slain, so you get to see more of that fast "showtime" action. Significant glitching is used; read the author's comments ( tasvideos.org/... ) for more information.

He’s a brilliant alchemist and scientist, he probably invented modern firearms which… _isn’t that far off from canon actually (he developed modern artillery, Mario kart, jukebox and laser defense)_
At least due to the “Era of the Lost Belmonts”, humanity collectively know _they’re fucked_ and try to not die instantly from the night creatures and develop just as fast, unfortunately, _those N@zi/American soldiers didn’t fare well against Medusa_

This is such a great game.
It doesn't matter how many times i've watched it, i always enjoy it a lot.
It's such a masterpiece
My personal favorite of the DS Castlevania games.
I feel outraged how much underrated the popularity of this game is.
I take this game over dawn of sorrow any day. (I fight my friend every time I say this near him)
Awesome job, dude. I love Portrait of Ruins. My personal favorite DS Castlevania game and one of my top 3 favorite Castlevania games.

Maybe The Creature. His machinegun and rockets are a pain in the ass to dodge.

oh, i see the video and read the pages on the link.... i don't have idea that glitches exist (my english is bad)
i got this game basically from a garage sale. turns out they had like 3 save files, 100% complete and stuff, to honor their progress i didn't delete files i just used what was left over.
The way Jonathan is moving is so funny !
Is the Quicksave-Zips frame perfect? Also, I'd like to see a TAS without all the sequence braking.

as i recall yeah the game basically says "hey idiot you aren't meant to kill those girls"

They literally ripped 5 bosses from dawn of sorrow
It is an optional painting though. You go down there for a bunch of great items, and what I believe to be the strongest dual crush in the game. Greatest Five, that basically summons five belmonts to attack, and with summon I mean, bomb the screen with whips. But other than this, it's kinda just a challenging "side quest".
Better to have the extra content than not. XD
its a side quest, u can finish the game with best ending without without going down there

Each map is its own separate percentage, so the maximum is 100% x 10 maps = 1000%
after seeing many castlevania games you see the copy pasting in its full form not the it bugs me but yeah it made games easier to make for them
