2024 - A STRONG & SOUND MIND - MINDSET
We have been programmed by the world, our minds have been programmed by the atmosphere and the environment which is around us. And we need to renew our minds. The Bible says, and have the mind of Christ.
#1 - Right thinking makes you strong
#2 - Scientists Agree With the Jesus & Bible.
Today:
#3 Having the Strong Mind of Jesus.
Proverbs 4:20-25 (AMP)
23 Watch over your heart (MIND) with all diligence,For from it flow the springs of life.
The Lord really dealt with me about watching my mind and what I put in it.
Let's look at a miracle of Jesus that had to do with a mind. And show the outcome of a peace, peaceful mind.
Jesus Heals a Demon-Possessed Man
Luke 8:26
26 So they arrived in the region of the Gerasenes, across the lake from Galilee. 27 As Jesus was climbing out of the boat, a man who was possessed by demons came out to meet him. For a long time he had been homeless and naked, living in the tombs outside the town.
We know the story in Jesus cast the demons out of him. And he was healed. Well, let's take a look at the outcome of this healing.
Luke 8:35 (AMP)
35 And people came out to see what had happened. They came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus’ feet, clothed and in his right mind (mentally healthy); and they were frightened.
Jesus knows the importance of your mind. So does the devil. We can guard our minds. The Bible says we have the mind of Christ. We used to have the mind of the world or the devil you could say. But now we have the mind of Christ. In Christ mind is from heaven it thinks about heavenly things and is strong and mighty.
This man is really wanting to be a follower of Jesus and go everywhere with Jesus from now on because he has a sound mind. What is the sound mind? A peaceful & strong mind.
Luke 8:39
39 “No, go back to your family, and tell them everything God has done for you.” So he went all through the town proclaiming the great things Jesus had done for him.
What do you think by looking at this verse? He went around proclaiming the greatness of Jesus. Jesus gave him back his mind. And now he has a sound strong, peaceful mind. That is the mind of Christ.
Let's wrap it up with four powerful scriptures about the mind.
1 Corinthians 2:16 (AMPC)
and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.
We have God's thoughts now. NLT same verse.
1 Corinthians 2:16 (NLT)
For, “Who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?” But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.
One of the ways we understand, these things, - just about the knowing in our heart that we were a child of God. ALSO knowing God's thoughts by knowing His Words about us.
Colossians 3:2 (AMP)
2 Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].
Romans 12:2 (AMP)
Let's take a look at the amplified classic or something I want you to see.

1 Peter 1:13 (NKJV)
13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
You are probably thinking, What does that mean? It’s basically saying we need to get all the junk in our mind out of our way so we can keep running our race in Christ Jesus and have the victory God wants us to have. Then we are ready for action to follow God’s plan for our lives.
Spend some time thinking about scriptures that renew your mind with the truth about what God says - about His love for you and His plan for you.
You have a strong strong mind say this after me.

I have a strong mind. I have a peaceful mind. I have the mind of Christ.
