Aside from the Mobile gas station in Wyoma Square and Lynn Hospital not being there, there's vety little that's changed in 40 years. Only wish the camera person looked to the left to see the Dairy Queen where the Walgreens is today.
Was looking to see if there was any footage of my old neighborhood back in the 80’s, almost got it here only if you stayed straight onto chestnut, still cool to see Boston and Lynnfield st back then compared to today
@@johnnymichael1804 That dealership back in the day was an Audi dealership it was flagship Audi Porsche then it turned into a Kia dealership then it turned into Mercedes
Where was this video started? What bowling alley?? Was it where Kelly Nissan is now? And man, I would love to see any video of the old Dairy Queen in Wyoma. What great memories!
yes by Kelly Nissan I came from Lynn Woods there is a trail that goes to lynn woods, don't have a DQ video but there is a stone tower lynn woods one. video is taking by a old full size vhs camcorder held by a 7 year old sitting on a tool box so he could see over the dash and then the tape was played & filmed off a tv so that's why the quality is not great
This is great, thank you for uploading. On another note, someone should go back in time and teach the camera person how to hold a camera steady. Holy crap.
ATLANTICARE was closed in 97' 98 and they put the stop n shop there on washington and boston st that was the yeart i moved in with my wife and son at 211 washington st corner of lloyd st and alsoo remember rollos restaurant
Wow this is so interesting, I lived in Lynn my whole life but I wasn't born until 10 years after this was recorded, what made you record this? Do you remember why you did?
We spent the day in Lynn woods and went up stone tower (there is a video of that too) hike or drove almost every week in there, after that we were just going home lived on N. Franklin ST and just let the vhs camcorder record. the camcorder was held by a 7 year old sitting on a tool box so he could see over the dash and then the vhs tape was played & filmed off a tv so that's why it's bad quality
Thanks for the memories
Miss the old Lynn from the 80’s!!
*it's weird not seeing a million potholes on boston street*

@@jasonhampton503 that's only a little old. If you're really old you remember it as "Lynn Municipal Hospital.". (sign-Im really old 😟)
When I got to Lynn in 1996, they were just demolishing the hospital to build the Stop & Shop...
I WAS IN ATLANTICARE IN 92'
Good Luck Farms!
Started out at the Jeep dealership, would'a been kinda cool to see Lynnfield Porsche/Audi
There's no Lynnfield Porsche/Audi... Only Mercedes.
