The vocals were originally for a collab with Breathe Carolina, but after some delays, the vocals ended up on a Manse song, and then Martin Garrix then turned the track into an instrumental and released it under his GRX side project with Brooks.

Damnn never realized the vocals were used on another track. After hearing it on this, the Manse track just makes the vocals sound bad hahahaa. Really love the vocals on this track

In my opinion that particular sounds a bit too dry, doesn't fit the song that much, but it's still cool.

This is just cut from my earlier version's verse of Boomerang (vocals with Breathe Carolina which has been released in a Manse song) and the drop, intro and outro of the released version of Boomerang.

Back in the day this song was called "Heroe". EDIT 2021: this was waaay better with the vocals... fucking manse and garrix for ruining the drop and the break
why Garrix? because of him, we were able to listen the track in a full! Maybe without him, boomerang wouldn't be born

Actually , this is a mashup from Boomerang and A Little Bit Closer.
Boomerang is the extended mix
actually, this is the original version way back from 2015-2016... then the vocal got on a different track... so wasn't possible to release in this form.. so then Garrix jumped in and finished the track as we know now, Boomerang! :)

Hey man i can explain it to you:
This song started out as a collab between breathe carolina and brooks and was known as „heroes“ or „closer“The version in the video is the former on as it was first teased in mestos set on slam fm in 2016. But unfortunately the song got leaked (brooks said it in his reddit AMA). This singer wasnt happy about it and gave the vocals to manse (on spotify available). Brooks wasn‘t able to release the song then. But for everyones luck GRX (martin garrix) jumped on and made the song happen since he always played it in his sets. So the song turned out to have a new break and was then called boomerang.
There is another version of the drop which has these extra plucky sounds in it and i never understood why they uploaded this version but who knows.

@@DragonCatProductions Garrix saved the track, but not the vocals. The vocals was given away to Manse, but Garrix saved the project. This version is the old version with Breathe Carolina mashed up with the new drop with Garrix. si no me equivoco, la idea original era de brooks, pero faltaba algo mas para terminar el track, y con el colab de Garrix = GRX el track fue lanzado por los dos

@Mauricio Astrulla también en esta versión la faltaban mas altos y Martin Garrix (GRX) Le ayudo a terminarla con la unica condicion de quitar algunas partes de la canción original también conocida como Héroes
Hubo problema con Breathe Carolina y Manse que después de esto, manse hizo una canción con esta vocal. Garrix solo puso el nombre y la metió en STMPD, a lo mejor hizo el break pero NADA MAS.
