In Jr high music class(15 years ago) we were asked to bring in a song that we liked to show to the class which we would then discuss genres and the structure of song etc. I was a young kid just getting into ska and brought in this song. I just thought it was such a fun track. I was met with weird looks and rude comments from the other kids in class who were picking popular songs from the radio. They hadn't heard this type of music much before and their response to me was discouraging. When I looked back after that class I realized that I didn't think it was worth it to just follow the other kids and try to fit in, since I wasn't really fitting in anyway, and it was better to just follow and be interested in what I was interested in. It was a life-changing realization for me and my heart always beats a little faster when I hear this song to this day. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. Keep the music coming, Caddies!
lmfao! great story... I remember one of my fav bands was reel big fish, loved mad caddies, street light and all them... I got made fun of because my music was gay and the popular stuff was cool... what did i learn? fuck them, we are so much cooler lol cheers to the not so main stream awesomeness !
First mad caddies song I ever heard, I was 16, and dubbed them “circus ska”😂 I just love how versatile they are, and how their music has evolved and grown over the years
Thank you, Mad Caddies. I'd like to see you perform live someday. Never had that pleasure. I'm 37, and it's been probably around 20 years of "I wanna go see Mad Caddies." It's just never worked out. Come to MN?

So much fun listening to this in high school. An eternity has passed and the songs still play spontaneously in my head from time to time.
