It takes an insane amount of core strength to hold Jimin's pose (notice how he brings his front leg up during the spin, and braces himself to further turn his chest towards the audience on JK's arm). It takes an enormous amount of strength to hold a person at chest height like Jungkook did (imagine holding a heavy box there).
Luckily jimin master in contemporary &modern dance. Those dancer knows how to work on body momentum so they will be lighter when going up. Same case with balerina. Its work on their steps in prelifting. Hold on to their core, some pose will help spiraling the momentum of the body weight. So yeah its not only JK strenght on that moment, but also jimin strenght so it work out beautifully
I know you guys are saying "Western award shows aren't ready for this kind of performance or they don't deserve it." but I really wanna see BTS do these kinds of performances in the west. I really want people to see BTS's true talent instead of conforming to theirs. Just imagine how stupid these Award shows (like Grammys) would feel if they saw a "boyband" who's suppose to be stereotypical gliding across the stage with contemporary dancing and unique music.

pretty sure the focus was the jikook part. no one else was doing lifts and their solo parts were longer. it's okay to focus on them. i'm confused why army think that every performance has to be equal in lines, equal in dance, etc... that's why there are vocal songs and rap line songs and various subunits...
