How to Automatically Detect Language in Speech Using Python

I understand the transcription engine does automatically identify which language is being spoken on the file.
How can I know which language has been identified by the transcription engine? The video shows how to print the transcript, but does not provide any information on the language identifyed.

If I am listening to a video, for example, is it possible to capture the sound from the headphones and not from the microphone? If so, how do I do it?
