@some boby I never heard of him. So I looked him up. From Ohio, a good Wrestler. A big fit guy probably on roids, (my assertion), and retiring into pharmaceutical sales. (wikipedia, for what ever that is worth). He was in early UFC (starting at 14 I think), as as the skills got better, he got submitted a lot, winning only 4 of 15 fights since 2000. I am not taking away from his accomplishments, but I don't see a hero to look up to here. IMO, from what I have seen of the sports beginnings, the only person I would consider looking up to is Royce Gracie. Mark Kerr was not one of them, but face it,--this sport is 70% filled with thugs.

Woodley was an easier matchup for colby. Woodley would have freezed just the way Marty did to him. That is the problem with a puncher vs an elite wrestler. You cannot swing due to fear of take down if you miss.
ye colby vs woodley would have been unreal. Colby would have got in Woodley's head so bad it wouldn't even be funny and woodley would have froze up even worse than the marty fight. Usman seems a bit toughter mentally in that colbys trash talk wont effect him as much, but damn i hope colby wins, he plays the game so much better than the rest. Marty at least seems to know what colbys trying to do, whereas woodleys too naive and sensitive to understand colbys thing.
@Carl Mannerheim nah I disagree. freestyle Wrestling credentials don't determine how good of an mma wrestler you are. usman clearly proved he is a much better mma wrestler than tyron. he also proved he is able to mix it up a lot better. the way he is able to mix striking with the takedown threat constantly to pressure his opponents is masterful. Usman was a terrible matchup for someone like tyron, who doesn't fight that well under pressure.
